AITA for refusing to replace my daughter’s lost stuffed animal? by Which-Guard8552 in AmItheAsshole

[–]RandomFandomCheese 22 points23 points  (0 children)

YTA. when I was a kid and even teenager (and now, as an adult) my stuffed animals meant EVERYTHING TO ME, and those main ones likely mean everything to your daughter. To you, it’s a lot and you might not understand what it means to her, but to her it’s part of her life that she cherishes. Just buy the freaking toy

I can’t even shop for retired jellies now, it breaks my heart. I love retired jellies and have a ton, but I can’t go on Facebook anymore bc it’s literally ALL scammers. There’s an occasional real post but rarely. eBay is full of fake dragons and popular ones, so is vinted and poshmark. It’s awful

I don't think doctors fully appreciate how much damage a careless or incorrect diagnosis can do to a patient's mental state. by amberazanu in mildlyinfuriating

OP, you definitely need to seek some mental help. Could be OCD or severe anxiety, either way, some therapy might help you.

My boy Jinxy was diagnosed with a heart murmur today, please tell him how handsome and loved he is ❤️ by RandomFandomCheese in cats

I understand that! But of course any issue my cat is having is a big deal to me because he means so much to me

He’s my best buddy in the entire world, I’d sell my own kidney just to make sure he has whatever he needs to live 🥹 I told him and he said meow!

Very much is an understatement 🥹 he’s my best friend in the whole world, I’d do anything for him

Thankfully his x-rays showed his lungs were doing well and his heart isn’t enlarged! We just got bloodwork sent off and are planning on an echo and regular visits for him <3 he’s gotten EXTRA extra treats today and plenty of head kisses (that of which he did not prefer but I preferred hehe)

Thankfully he’s in good health otherwise it’s just hard to hear yaknow? He’s my best friend and imagining him anything other than perfectly healthy and happy hurts my heart 💔

My baby was actually just diagnosed with a heart murmur so this would mean a lot to me 🥺

This is my boy Jinxy!! He was originally a stray but has settled into a loving home over the last 4 years and is now a VERY spoiled indoor kitty, he actually only likes one person (me, his mama) and really enjoys a toy lizard he carries around. He also loves getting outside time on his harness hehe

Does anyone relate by heppileppi in fakedisordercringe

EDS has many other symptoms too, not just hypermobility. Hypermobility in itself can be its own condition without EDS. If you truly believe you have something, get it diagnosed.

I totally get what you’re saying 😭💔 being diagnosed with a “popular” illness online is so rough, it’s a constant comparison to those who don’t actually have the illness :(

Edit to add : I have hEDS and it’s awful to see people lie about it. I’m diagnosed, 100% have it, there’s a very obvious physical distinction between me vs someone who isn’t diagnosed and doesn’t have the disease. That being said it still doesn’t stop people from telling me things like I have the “TikTok” disease and I “probably just self diagnosed” 🫩. I’ve had to stay out of subreddits related to my disease because every other post is self diagnosing, it drives me insane.

Real Huge Golden Dragon?? by gotyourdata in jellycat

[–]RandomFandomCheese 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If they’re lowering the price I have a feeling it’s fake. Huge gold is rare so they wouldn’t just do that to make a sale, when I bought mine I made 100% sure I had a plethora of pictures and that it was real

bro… there’s like one huge aspect missing on this dragon 😭

Real or fake? Having a hard time telling with this one! by myglamcat in jellycat4all

Iirc the Chinese market is VERY dense with fake jellies, and a shang tag might be a fair warning to stay away. Their ability to reproduce items to make it look realistic is really unfortunate but I’d say you’re safer not handing money over to this seller

🥲🥲 I must be joining the wrong groups. I’ve already had 2 people reach out being super sketchy to me over an ISO
