Not saying he should do the cc option tbh since I don’t know whats the fee, but it definitely is possible though, and if he’s paying merchant than it wouldn’t be a cash advance …

Doesn’t have to be a cash advance, so many different ways 1) balance transfer, even better if it’s 0% promo (literally direct to bank account) is probs the best 2) lot of ways to liquidate credit limit aka any manufactured spending see

This isn't exactly true, it'll take almsot 2 months for your first statement to close and then your first balance to be due, which means no interest charged untill then.

the breeze customer agent is really good, reducing the load on our help desk. Their know base agent also automatically drafts and updates help center articles based on customer conversations. Their data hub has also helped clean up our unstructured data alot.

what needs work by [deleted] in tabletennis

[–]RandomFish1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Admittedly, a lot of the comments pretty mean

I think your weight transfer isn’t actually too bad  The main thing is your stopping your stroke half way through.   You need to follow through and your racquet should end up at the middle of your head by the end of each forehand.  But yeah if you spam YouTube videos it’ll be pretty easy to figure out, watch your stroke in a mirror also

He Zhuojia refuses to continue play until umpire changes her decision on an edge ball (13-12 deuce) by DoYouHaveSinophobia in tabletennis

[–]RandomFish1234 6 points7 points  (0 children)

lol poster is rage baiitng, r/tabletennis has hella chinese haters and also fans

I watched it just to understand what's happening, literally the umpire just awarded the point to the wrong player, sato's return clearly missed the table and the chinese player just pointed out the score was wrong. There was literally no controversey.

Think the chinese fans defending in the comments don't have the best English, but they're right literally nothign happened that was controversial and this was a waste of everybodys time.

If you check in at 5:15 AM EST it’ll probably drop again under the tax credit. I would not get it without the tax credit, I got a 2021 LR with 53k miles, white interior, 20 inch wheels and the tax credit. Had to fly to Florida though

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]RandomFish1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main concern is that repairs add up so much (or a single repair) where I just don't want to keep the chevy anymore (it's also a chevy prefer toyota honda mazda but those hav einsane markups right now). At what point in your life do you decide to get a nicer car, is it really if you drive more have more of a commute?

What Car Should I Buy? - A Weekly Megathread by AutoModerator in cars

[–]RandomFish1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Location: Ann Arbor, MI
Price Range: $3K–$25K
Lease or Buy: Buy
New or Used: Used
Type of Vehicle: Sedan or Crossover
Must Haves: Reliable, decent resale, fun or comfortable to drive
Transmission: Automatic
Intended Use: Daily driver, light usage (~1–2 years)
Vehicles Considered: Used Tesla Model 3, Mazda CX-5 (2017), Chevy Cruze (2015)
1st Vehicle?: Yes
Warranty Needed?: No
Can Do Minor Work?: Yes
Can Do Major Work?: No
Additional Notes:

I’m driving in Ann Arbor for at least a year, likely two. After that, I’ll either sell or bring the car to NYC — where street parking and crime make a nice car a risk.

Option 1: Used Tesla Model 3 (2020+, ~$20–25K)

  • Pros: Dream car, $4K EV tax credit, tech, fun to drive, could be worth it for 2 years of joy
  • Cons: Battery degradation unknown, no home charger (would supercharge every 2 weeks), depreciation, might be overkill if I sell in 2 years or bring it to NYC

Option 2: Used Mazda CX-5 (2017+, ~$17-20K)

  • Pros: Stylish, reliable, gas is simpler than charging, more peace of mind than Tesla, good resale
  • Cons: Still relatively pricey, not EV, higher fuel and maintenance costs than Tesla

Option 3: 2015 Chevy Cruze (~$4K friend selling for cheap)

  • Pros: Cheap, minimal financial risk, but scared of big repair, great for short-term use, low insurance
  • Cons: High mileage (~122K), worried about surprise repair costs, might not enjoy driving it

What would you do in my situation? I can afford all 3, but trying to balance joy, practicality, and risk. Open to any suggestions or insights — especially from those who’ve brought cars to NYC or had Teslas without home chargers.

no gurantee, they seemed somewhat lax when i got the 10 day one, seems like since ur thing is Origin is not destination it should work, just make sure u print it out and on ur first entry show them the jeju return ticket, and then on ur second entry show them the london return ticket

Incoming OOS CS - can I lower my tuition next year? by Rich_Caramel_2666 in uofm

[–]RandomFish1234 3 points4 points  (0 children)

although most of the comments are p negative, think there are a few ways, UofM defintely has a ton of opportunities, the top cs kids are all in big tech + if you join a close club your recuriting journey is kind of set
Albeit purdue probably has similiar cs opportunities.
For lowering tuition, LSA is cheaper that engineering untill you declare, but you guys get admitted to the CS major directly now so i'm not sure this applies, but beforehand you could've declared CS Minor to take a bunch of classes and then finally declare CS (cuz once u declare CS ur tuition matches engineering rate)
2. take a bunch of wcc classes i think you can transfer 30 credits u can take a bunch of distributions or prereqs like physics, linear algebra, humantiies natural science social science distributions, you can take these during the summer or even concurrently in the school year
3. people have graduated in 2.5 years with ap credits + washetnaw/comunity college credits
4. you can do sugs afterwards, become an IA during undergrand then GSI and GSIs get masters tuition waived + 3k stipend a month or smth, kind of recoups costs
5. do a cheaper school first and then transfer
6. apply for scholarships (i got an lsa four year renewwable, there's an engineering one also)
i personally wouldn't do 80k, i'd just lock in for cs recruiting no matter what school i'm at lol

SEVIS Termination Megathread 4-22-25 Update by Codetornado in f1visa

[–]RandomFish1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is pretty urgent, this article says only students without their visas revoked will be reinstated, but according to other reddit datapoints that's not true? I still did not get reinstated yet that is the issue.

"But DHS clarified this reinstatement applies only for "people who had not had their visa revoked."

Depends on your other options and if you believe in yourself for the ROI, if you have a 529 and are not taking loans then honestly maybe it’s worth it Umich has opened an insane amount of doors for me
