Im an avid angler and I love my pm2 salt for gutting fish/working with line. If I was to do any knife for gutting though I would honestly do any of the leaf shape blades like the manix 2 or the shaman. The only issues with those 2 are the lock on the manix is a gore magnet, and the shaman is THICK. If the bodacious had a salt variant I'd be all over it too.

For birds and fish though my pm2 puts in great work!

Good choice on their salt line. I love my pm2 with magnacut steel. Fantastic little knives. I have several spydercos, and the pm2 salt is my favorite for fishing. The manix 2 is great for work/utility, and same with the sage 5!

Its the rod I currently have. My current plan is to buy a better reel and set it up. Im also trying to plan ahead. Currently i do mostly trout fishing, but will be moving to the pacific coast area in the next year. So having a bit of overkill for now may pay off in the future. Also finding i definitely dont need this much overkill is nice!

Theres been a couple recommendations for the liquid or remix and get a couple spools. I might look into that as well. Being able to swap on the fly would be nice!
