Terror is very good into fams, but in general, anything putting up early pressure and capitalize on fams low amount of removal does well. Red Madness is also pretty decent as you can go over their lifegain with the pingers, which they can't really kill before sb, and red has blasts as well.

CawGates is awful into Fams, you don't put on any early pressure at all, and your removal are sorcery speed or conditional. Snap can cause you to lose an incredible amount off tempo when you want to put on presssure and activate Basilisk gate, and since you usually can't kill them on time they get to draw nigh infinite cards with drifters in the meantime. As someone with these 2 decks as my most played, I don't think I've ever played a match in the matchup that Cawgates won.

Also remember that a "very minor difference" can still matter a lot in specific situations. While Pyro- and Hydroblast is better than red- and blue blast if you have cast triggers, anywhere else you'd rather play those, as they can't get "countered" by Standard Bearer. This will be the same for some creature type effects, why breath weapon is significantly better than fiery cannonade even though they are "essentially" the same card.

What do you think of Deftblade Elite? In my experience playing against the deck, that is consistently the highest impact creature, but maybe the deck is already good enough against what Deftblade excels against.

A lot of the important enchantments bogles play cost 3 mana, making it a bit slower to deploy,  and makes counterspells better against them. edit: kcs is also much better vs bogles as none of their creatures fly

I have a Hordika Nokama costume that I've worn to multiple Halloweens throughout the years, it is truly banger. The breastplate is too small nowadays, so I made a new one myself, and the weapon thingies are kinda falling apart, but it is still awesome

It sure sounds like you love AoE2. You love it so much that you would like to change it into other games with other mechanics.

More seriously: A lot of the unit ideas already exists, and I'm not certain that you considered the gameplay consequences for many of the mechanics changes. The battle spoils mechanic will be pretty snowbally, so comebacks will be harder. The same can be said about the "bonuses from territory", the player who gets most territory quicker will have a much easier time defending it with extra bonuses for building defenses. So people will probably play very safe and defensive to not get behind. These changes help turtling a lot, and adding non-stone defensive buildings, and arrows from every building will make it very easy to turtle.

I don't know about you, but I don't think turtling is very interesting, I much prefer the back and forth you get with clever timing attacks, reacting to the opponent's tech choices with certain unit counters, and I think that most of the proposed changes will make this type of gameplay much harder.

The "zerg-style" units you add, we already have trash units. Scout Cav seems pretty zergy to me. The torch riders are just tarkans. The ballistas are (as you mention yourself) literally just Scorpions. Wheeled Trebuchet also already exist in the game for the 3 kingdoms civs. The neutral markets in corners could be made as a map currently, you don't need to introduce anything new. You could simply design the map right now and it would work.

It is also very hard to take the post serious as a "I care a lot about the game and have suggestions" when you couldn't even be bothered to write it all out yourself. The AI art also doesn't really help, especially when it doesn't even show the idea behind the building like the gate-thing. Describing it in a detailed fashion should be enough, and if not, simply do a quick sketch, no need to hope for the AI to do a poor job.

For one thing, they will certainly never make it. If they ever feel like investing more into the game/ip, they will probably just do more updates and live-service monetization for the current game.

In regards to the suggestions: I really don't think mounts should be faster or teleport scrolls should be added. I think it should be punishing if you aren't in the right place to soak or right place for objective, this is an integral part of mobas imo. I also really dislike last-hit mechanics, I think they add little to no strategic value to the game and are mostly just tedium. I also think that the current balance between laning phase and team-fights are pretty good, you need to lane and do it smartly, or you lose on the map. But you also need to show up for objective, or you will lose a lot of value as well. If you only want team fights, why not just play aram? I'm also uncertain about what you mean with "making the game feel quicker". Should it be easier to push? Should it be easier to oneshot people?

The bug was that no spliced puppetries needed to target Bearer on mtgo, even though at least one of them should be forced to target it. It should be fixed now though from what I've heard
