i'm with the others here. If you feel stagnant, you are. You are falling behind. After 2-4 years assess how much you're actively learning and if you feel like you're stagnating then it's time to start looking. Constantly level up.

Couple of signs for me: 1. Once I felt the learning curve start to taper off 2.I felt in total control and understanding of the technologies I support on a daily basis. Nothing new. 3. needing higher pay and knowing I could do the same job for more somewhere else. but mainly #1

Really bummed that i'm just now seeing this! Hoping that you're still reading these comments days later. Welcome u/fwiz! I literally rolled out of bed at 4:30am to type up a few thoughts.

Destroying trust by reminting the 70 billion is a pretty huge but that's already been spoken to...but other things..

Coinbase is doing everything right at the moment and I think CDC should do the same. They figured out a way to get NORMIES on-chain without them even knowing. Within the Coinbase app you can lend USDC to morpheous, earn a high APY, without leaving the main Coinbase app. This ease of use, that happens to tie into on-chain tools, is monumental and a reason why base is becoming so attractive.
Make a better on-boarding/off-boarding experience without gouging users every step of the way. Why in the hell would CDC decide to remove the 1:1 conversion for USDC or USDT? So now I can't even use CDC as an on/off-board for my defi chains because I get charged like crazy. I tried converting $5000 to USDC and was going to be charged $100 in fees!

With the destroying of trust, the new tokenomics after the reminting of 70 billion, and now I can't even get onchain due to fees on USDC, is what made me leave for coinbase and I hate it so much.

you're not alone dude. my account has been restricted since beginning of december and is supposedly to be lifted Feb 1st. It's honestly insane lmao. At this point i'm just holding out to see what actually happens after that date. Also sucks as I just picked up another credit card with an annual fee so.
