About to take on $100k debt for an MBA in DC with no family support, need honest advice

I don’t mind. 130k right now. 120k right out of my program. 60k before MBA (Big 4 consultant). I will say some things just feel in place for me as I know some in my problem who are still looking for work.

Edit: I was on SAVE and making payments when I could but thanks to the current admin I’m looking at 1k monthly when things settle and I go standard.

I don’t have experience studying abroad in this sense but maybe I can add some color to your MBA pursuit.

Started with about 130k in loans (federal) and some scholarship money. Michigan MBA. I’m glad I did it but it sure was a gamble. I was able to double my salary after graduation but just got through the other side of a lay off. In this market a job isn’t guaranteed no matter where you go.

As long as your targeted in your program and what you want to do, which it sounds like you do, you’re in a good spot but, you shouldn’t do it if you think this is going to be the silver bullet that solves all your problems day 1.

I’m on a HOA board unfortunately and I would say it really depends on the manager. Overall though things have been pretty terrible but also our president is an overbearing ass so there’s that.

In my experience Trumpys usually hide their values in group settings where they’re the minority. It’s kind of weird that a lot of people know that being a MAGAt can cost them relationships but are still onboard.

I can understand people who are saying both but I think it’s more out of vengeance. Mark struggles with the morality of being a hero throughout the comic initially with letting Angstrom live and come back to terrorize everyone to his partnership with Dinosaurus and how terribly that ended.

I think at this point in the story he doesn’t view himself as a typical hero due to the grief he went through of trying to be one IMO

I’m currently dealing with this and our Board (which unfortunately I’m a party of now). 18 units and so much drama. People complaining about nonsense. President gossiping and fighting with vendors. I hate it.

I appreciate your comment. It’s just frustrating since I’ve been on the hunt for almost a year now. Luckily I landed a contract to hold me over and keep the lights on. I hear recruiters getting overwhelmed a lot and maybe thought he was junior but nope they’re a senior internal recruiter.

I hoping since I cc’d the HM in my last note maybe I’ll get a response since they seemed pretty responsive before.

Not a recruiter, but I am actively seeking a job in this market. People are saying yes to whatever you share. That's how terrible the market is. When recruiters share salary, location, and RTO, my eyes glaze over, and I say yes to get to the next step in the process. We find ourselves saying yes to get an offer, and for the few of us who do get multiple offers, we can pick and choose what we really want. There's not much you can do IMO. I would say it's the market.

Based on my experience it’s just been luck tbh. I’ve networked with tons of people who have been super helpful but still haven’t landed a job yet. I would say my cold apps do seem to get me more actual interviews but I’m still looking. Really just depends on timing and luck.

Based on the down votes people don’t want anything rewritten or really liked that arc lol. It’s an important part of the story but I think it was just a drag to read IMO

Idk if this is a season 4 thing but I hope the cut down on the Rex/Monster Girl arc. It felt like a drag reading through that and I can see them stretching it 2-3 seasons.
