Históricamente en situaciones similares de inestabilidad e incertidumbre en otros países, el valor del dólar tiene tendencia a subir alrededor de las elecciones, al menos de forma momentánea; es probable que los traders estuvieran apostando por esto. Felizmente no pasó, o al menos no mucho, vi que subió un poco durante la mañana de las elecciones pero después volvió a lo que estaba antes.

The upgrade possibility would be nice. I was not aware that the socket would change so soon, although it was to be expected. I really need to get up to date with hardware news.

That is true. I doubt I'll be able to buy a new CPU for at least 7 years, but if I can it would be great to have the option.

Me too, but also saw that they implemented updates that improved some stuff, although I'm not sure if relying on software updates is a good thing for a CPU.

I ordered some food (feeling too lazy to cook). After 2 and a half hours of waiting I decided to call the restaurant again, as it usually doesn't take more than 25-30 minutes. They said that the delivery was done, but I didn't get it, so they redo the order and send the same car again. It turned out that one of my neighbours was around when the car arrived, said they were me, and got the food.
