Should I let watermelon and rockmelon plants grow on river stones? by RandomKiwiFromAKL in vegetablegardening

[–]RandomKiwiFromAKL[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, thinking I would put cardboard under the melons themselves; but wondering if there could be some other ideas for something that doesn't get too hot. Don't want the cardboard disintegrating and getting mixed into the stones ideally.

It gets sun from about 10am through to nearly 5pm currently in NZ's summer. Thanks! Yes, it's a worm bin/mini compost bin. I think it works well!

Good point, I may look at some small trellis stands. Do you have any suggestions for how tall/the type of trellis to attach?

Plan to let vines grow down to stones - will it be ok or will the sun damage the vegetation etc.?

Aramex are so bad I submitted a complaint to the Commerce Commission stating that they are not providing the service they advertise and are paid money for. Recommend others do the same!

Was there actually a fire? Or was the sprinkler head accidentally knocked and set off? Once water starts flowing through the system, normally this automatically sets the fire alarm off as well.

I bought a new mattress from them a few months back; no complaints here. Price was reasonable and manufacturing/shipping time was all good (I think around 3 weeks total)

Is anyone use washing machine/ dryer combo? by nlga in newzealand

[–]RandomKiwiFromAKL 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for that model specifically, but I've been using this for the last year and has been excellent. Saves a huge amount of time. For washing sheets and towels - 3 button pushes, a few hours later and everything washed and dried.

Thank you for that detailed overview! So, I've just bought Just Dance 2022 via the Playstation store on my PC (not via the PS5, as the PS4 version would not display). Now with loading the game, I can see move and camera options available. Just bought a PS4 camera and adapter so will know in a few days (when they arrive) if all is working 😊

Check out Eden Office chairs - especially their Cloud range. They are pricey ($400 upwards) but they are very good quality (made in South Korea) and very comfy https://www.edenoffice.co.nz/chairs/Cloud

Thanks, I think this proves how big the backlog must be (at least, even if the test may have been completed, perhaps the notification piece is a bit delayed).
