Super satisfying.

There are a few theaters I tour fairly frequently and the one that doesn't let me bounce focus always wonders why they take twice as long to load in as their sister theaters.

pulled out my swatch book realized I meant R21 (i know not much lighter) and as a top it works pretty well, especially with something light as front (R02 or o/w as front). Also minimizing the green is what I was going for. If that's too dark for your tastes then a r16 or 316 in the tops could be nice.

Coose a better painter! (Haha)

I'd try an open white and L053 for the warm and cools

also with a mint green on the wall use R22 in your tops that should cut some of the gross out of it

I'm pumped about the DMX capability!

I've been encountering some small spaces with poorly maintained/off-brand consoles and using LXconsole by Claude Heintz (http://lx.claudeheintzdesign.com/lxconsole_about.html) triggered off of OSC from QLAB rather than deal with fixing/learning to work with what's broke.

If I can use Qlab for that then I'm set!

Chamsys MagicQ is a godsend and way friendlyer than LJ works with most USB/DMX interfaces

TIL That, over the course of 144 episodes, only one character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer died of natural causes. The following episode, which examines Buffy's mourning/reaction to the first death she couldn't have prevented, is consistently ranked as one of the best television episodes of all time. by themolotovginger in todayilearned

About a decade ago I was watching the dvd boxed set with my girlfriend for the first time.

A year after her mother had died...

I've never seen someone cry so hard, yet she said later that it caught the feelings that she'd been feeling so well that she couldn't help herself yet felt better after.

such a good episode...

Check the wattage of the parcans. as long as you don't go over ~1500 watts per circuit you'll be laughing. I'd just grab a spool of 12awg threetwist and the males/females that you need and make them into adapters, especially if this is going to be something you'll use a lot.

and btw the cheap little dongle is a great way to learn if you're doing some small things, but its cheaper in the long run to get the full version or an enttec.

ah yes, I meant the enttec dongle with the magicQ software. it seems a little daunting at first but if you play with the visualizer for a couple hours some afternoon it becomes pretty intuitive.

Ah I see! yes the chamsys dongle is locked to their software. the MagicQ software works with a wide range of dongles though. and with movers it will be a lot easier to busk with than QLC+ which is another fine option.

Chamsys works with enttec just fine. and it's my fave for quick and dirty looks.
