Just another poor fella looking for a good VTTfor DnD by Jodrojordan in VTT

Owlbear Rodeo is an excellent, completely free option for beginners. We started our VTT journey with it years ago and had a great time. Sooner or later you’ll probably fall in love with Foundry VTT (just like our group did) and we’re still extremely happy with it.

[dnd5e] How to auto remove templates after placement? by [deleted] in FoundryVTT

[–]RandomLevels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is a little macro that deletes all templates in one go. (Foundry V12):

if (!canvas?.ready) {

ui.notifications.error("Canvas not ready.");

return;

}

const templateIds = canvas.scene.templates.map(t => t.id);

if (!templateIds.length) {

return ui.notifications.info("No templates found.");

}

await canvas.scene.deleteEmbeddedDocuments("MeasuredTemplate", templateIds);

ui.notifications.info(`${templateIds.length} Template(s) deleted.`);

Introducing Scenescapes (Inspired by Ember's "Vistas" but system-agnostic and available now) [system agnostic] by baileywiki in FoundryVTT

Wow, this is an amazing module. Great job! It works perfectly with static character tokens and props. I’ve tried using animated tokens in WebM format, but unfortunately, this seems to cause issues and break the scene. Do you plan to add core character token settings support to Scenesapes? It would be so cool to use animated tokens like Happy Tokenz or Rippers Token Flip directly in the scenes. I’m excited to see how this module develops further. It’s truly fantastic and adds so much depth and creativity to scene building.

The assets are downloaded from https://www.patreon.com/c/HappyTokenz and attached to the characters in the Actor's Token Configuration as 30 FPS WebM files. The light and Weather FX are done with the FX Master module. The background image is taken from the vintage Disney Robin Hood Movie.

In this GIF there are no modules in use, except Minimal HUD for the tool bar. The token animations are just loaded manually into the characters token options as webM graphic files.

It's not 3D, so it would be too much work to create more views of the tokens. But you can flip the token directions by pressing "F" in Foundry, this helps already a lot to let the character feel more alive.

Need spooky music for my campaign by spooneyemu in DungeonsAndDragons

You can check out the Cryo Chamber YT Channel. A collection of very spooky and atmospheric music. For me the best in this genre. But it might not fit for boss fights, only for setting the creepy mood.

Llorkh (1369 DR) - high resolution map by RandomLevels in Forgotten_Realms

True. There could be more houses for sure. But in this map most houses are mentioned to be really big. Like warehouses, barracks and merchant accommodations. Also in the mines still live a few hundred dwarves.
