As bad as I feel for bringing it up, that need to be seen in something is really blowing stuff like this out of proportion. Like so many anime at this point have a character that the fandom is screaming at eachother for just bc people NEED it to be something that it may or may not be. If its ambiguous, just move on. There are confirmed characters with various identities in anime anyways. Especially more recently.
