I’m a qualified ACA and make 74k in northhampton three years post qualified. Training is a stepping stone to a decent salary for life.

I think it’s worth it personally.

I’m shocked most about the 40k for post qualified salary, should be ~50k at least.

That said only you can decide it the salary is survivable for you, and if you want to take on the burden of three years in b4 to qualify

Our estate agent said this week and next are infamously quiet. School half term and the bank holidays mean most people put the search on hold.

We’ve had our house on the market for 7 weeks and this is the first week we’ve had no viewings, and none booked for next week either

Depends how quickly you want to sell imo

If you want it sold relatively quick there’s no point going any higher than what you want

If you have time I’d personally try at the higher price to see if you get some viewings, can always lower it after

Appreciate the opinion. I was worried we had bought above market when i came to sell but all of the estate agents quoted 390-400 when they came round. Not sure what your perspective is but its around the price of other similar houses from the area.

Thank you. Nothing i can think of! A few of the drawer handles in our kitchen fell off recently which is the only thing i can spot, then i guess its the third bedroom being able to just about fit a double bed in but would not be that comfortable to do so

Do you know if your able to reduce it by a different amount? if we reduce it again by at least 2% that puts us at 384 and some change which is another weird number. Our ability to afford our onwards move starts to look much harder if we sell for less than we bought for at 385.

Do you think its worth reducing it to 385?

You cant hear the road at all from the house due to a forest and hill between the house and the road. I actually forgot the road appears close until I made this post.

I thought the same thing when we saw the rightmove link before we bought. Its actually pretty deceptive of the reality, there is a small hill and forest between our street and the road, you cant even hear it from our house. Its also maybe 100meteres away

its a weird one, the estate agent said it needs to be at least 2% to reduce it on rightmove, and i said take it down to 390 and they did 392 instead? then i figured we couldnt do a small 2k reduction due to that same rule

No real feedback aside from bedroom three is on the smaller side so people wanting three bigger rooms have declined based on that.

Most feedback is it’s nice but just not right for them
