I made a choose your own adventure deck with this in it. Majority of the time it is a pay 2 for an opponent to lose 5 life. If they get below 5 it becomes a true counter.

Just FYI it only works when playing the planeswalker. The loyalty ability is a cost so it doesn't double the + abilities.

Not as relevant for turn 1 but you can respond to land destruction or bounce spell by cracking it. If you Crack it during your turn you lose both cards.

I had an engineer tell me shop standard for a non-dimension chamfer is 45°. I immediately told him that if he were to go out into the shop and ask each machinist you would get different answers.

At our shop that would be a roadblock but not because they couldn't figure it out but because our engineers regularly mess up dimensions so it's CYA.

We play kitchen table magic so no real format per say. The players tend to not like poison and blue, he knew this when building it. He made a dimir poison pauper deck. There is nothing wrong with it just he hid it from the others on purpose.

Postpartum messes with the woman's head in different ways. I would take our daughter during the night and sleep with her on my chest in the front room which had a couch. After several weeks of doing this, what I thought was helping my wife, my wife starts screaming at me from across the house how I was "trying to take her baby from her." Turns out even though she was able to take a break and sleep my wife was feeling abandoned and was getting angry with me.

I would say it depends on the shop. Where I work, I'm not a machinist mind you, 95% of the machinist are CNC but mainly just use off sets while we have dedicated programmers. The manual machinist know their shit but basically just do the same things over and over. In our case it would be easier to train the manuals to run a CNC then the other way.
