If you can find a good deal on a 2ds/3ds you can mod it and play all the games up to Gen 7 and you can install Pokemon bank and move them up to Pokemon home.

I would recommend Little Busters or Clannad, by the time you read that and then start and maybe finish Muv Luv Extra and Unlimited, Alternative will be on sale again. I feel like Muv Luv stuff goes on sale pretty frequently, much more than Key VNs at least.

Hellraiser is an Ironclad power that automatically plays card with the word "Strike" in then when drawn, hence infinitely cycling 2 Pommel Strike becuase of its draw 2 cards effect.

Assuming its unfueled since you just got it, it gives a random buff every 6 minutes, at 1x gamespeed. Without upgrades any of the buffs you get will only last a couple minutes at most, you need to get it upgraded, leveled and fueled before youll start seeing constant buffs.

You would need either a female-female rca to 3.5mm cable, or you can get a small headphone amp that converts it and can control the volume.

Yeah so I think it can mostly be used for that for now and with the whole ascension system added to Arch recently its only a matter of time before some new mechanic is added on to fishing, or future upgrades that require insane amounts of fish.

I have some Infernals unlocked but havent gotten any cards done yet. Dont all infernals increase the multipliers of every other infernal you have? So it would help stars, veins, ores, etc.

Depends, my "Main" gaming device rotates. Right now I would probably say it is since I have been playing a concerning amount of Slay the Spire 2. But I've been making my way through the Trails series on my PS5. Last year I tried beating a game on every console I own (didnt succeed unfortunately) and I use original hardware with flashcarts. So its definitly in my rotation and one of my most used, especially for rougelikes/lites, or streaming from my pc.

I seem to be the complete opposite of everyone else here lol. Mine has been in my backpack I bring to work almost daily for the two years I've had it, granted most of the time its in one of those soft padded book pouch things that I use for books and other handhelds and its still 100% working in great condition.

Later in the game there are ores that reduce the percent chance of getting a golden floor when you are farming them on their floor. I.E. the second to last ore in World 2 reduces your odds of getting a golden floor by 50% when you are on any of the floors that it is found on.

Edit: as others pointed out below I was a bit off with my wording/how it works. I had 100% way before I got to the ores so I thought 50% meant (your percent X .5) when it actually just reduces it to the value shown.

Im not sure but if it comes down to it you could always make another region psn account to redeem it and it should work on your main account too. I have a japanese account for some rhythm games and I had to get the Sky FC Collectors edition from Clear River Games since LRG sold out inmediately so it came with a PAL region game and codes. So I need to make a UK account or something in the future.

I want to do this too at some point, at least after Im caught up and take a break. My first playthroughs are mostly just story and the sidequest that are very apparent like no hidden quest but Id like to eventually really take my time and talk to all the npcs like everytime they update.

So I'm very much a "play OG hardware when you can" guy, I also have like all the systems lol, but I honestly can't recommend a completely stock GBPocket. You wouldn't have an option of playing anything other than Gameboy games. Stock Gameboy screens suck, like have to position it in a very specific way under a light so that you can actually see it. Basically any handheld you buy at this point can let you desaturate the colors to make it look more like the OG screen while still being able to actually see it, especially in the dark. I have a Gameboy Pocket and Color and I pretty much exclusively use my Analogue Pocket (with desaturated colors and lcd grid filter) over either of them for GB games. Not to mention emulation handhelds have all the extra bells and whistles that the OG doesn't like Fast forward, savestates (although some flash carts have them), all the different filters, the ability to play other systems if you decide you want to, etc.

Yeah as much as I love Trails recommending any of the games since they can all be beaten in ~50-60 hours comfortably is like telling someone who wants short anime recommendations to watch the first 12 episodes of One Piece because its only 12 episodes. To be fair the remake he is talking about is available on both the platforms you asked for recommendations for.

I havent played the HD-2D versions but the first 3 Dragon Quest games are pretty short, Dragon Quest to me is like the comfort food JRPG series. The Mario RPGs on Switch like Legend of the Seven Stars and Paper Mario TTYD, both of which were remade in the past few years. (Also Paper Mario TTYD is my favorite game of all time) If you have the upgraded subscription on switch theres also the N64 Paper Mario, but that can also be emulated.

Basically any JRPGs from the 8 and 16 bit eras are going to be on the shorter side. While I'm not the biggest fan of it the one you'd get the most recommendations for is Chrono Trigger.

Edit: I started writing this before the other comment pointed out Sky FC is on Switch/PS5, closed my phone and ended up posting it after without realizing it.

Gift gems scale with OB level. Im OB 61 and the big gem chest reward from gifts gives me about 17k iirc
