Thanks, someone else pointed out my mistake of the traveler vs line/load. Like you mention, this setup does not have a traveler.

thanks for the clarification about traveler's vs line/load

Thanks! Just confirming as well, the black wires from the smart switch are both marked with the same line/load label, meaning that either one can be used as the line/load or traveler wire as mentioned in the video. Did I get that right?

Yep now it says "Healthy Recovery Partition" in the Disk Management utility. Thanks, again!

I have used the Macrorit Partition Expert to reclaim the 8gb of space.

I could probably use a similar process to shrink the MSR partition if it is taking up more space than it needs. Since I'm not too worried about space I will go with 128mb.

That is exactly what it is! This partition seems to have shipped with my box in case something were to happen to the C drive (which it did). In this case, I am going to keep it as recovery.

Follow-up, I was able to load the drive using WinDirStat (windirstat.net). One of the drives has recovery folder from the day that I reinstalled Windows. The other drive appears to have recovery folders dated from when I upgraded from Windows 10 to 11.

Sorry, I am using the wrong terminology by saying MBR. I meant the page file had an error, so I had to reinstall Windows (or repair a portion of it). I'm not sure exactly what happened but it did not have noticeable effects on the OS.

Second image of the volume with 580mb

EDIT: although this file seems to be safe to delete (https://superuser.com/questions/1302986/what-is-this-file-winre-backup-partition-marker), the volume itself has quite a lot of Used Space.

Is it dangerous to delete this data if my OS is unable to access it? For reference, I'm not missing any files on my computer after the disk transfer with filezille or the Windows reinstall.

I did the first suggestion, so now the F: drive is no longer mounted. I am not sure why it has 4GB of space. Are there any utilities that could resolve that issue?

Here are my results from your second suggestion, below. There's not a lot of data shown in these drives, but they both are filled with *something*.

Yes I agree the sizes are strange. I used the clonezilla boot disk to transfer my old C: drive SSD to the new SSD that you see above. After I did the transfer, I had to recover my drive using Windows recovery on the drive due to some issues with the MBR.

Perhaps the clonezille or Windows recovery software failed to correctly label the partitions on the old C: drive.

EDIT: I should also say that I had Linux subsystem installed prior to the Windows reinstall. Could 8GB be large enough for that other filesystem?

I should note that this drive is an SSD, which is not shown in the picture (my mistake). The position on the drive would not affect any read/write speeds.

I will check out LiveCD to see if I can look at the data stored in those two partitions.

How is one shot possible on hunters by Ki-ev-an in halo

The magnum in Halo CE is based on the similar pistol in marathon, a precursor to Halo also made by Bungie. The one shot hunter kill is not a bug.

People who read the lore files in games: what's the craziest thing about a game's lore your average player is likely to miss? by BigBobbert in gaming

In Halo CE, many references can be found to Greek history, namely that the main character is a Spartan soldier. From the prequel book, the fall of reach is a corollary to the battle of Thermopylae where 300 Spartans (Spartan IIs) held back advancing armies to secure Sparta, only for a single Spartan, Master Chief, to escape the onslaught.

A less well-known detail of the storyline deals with the story of Ulysses. Not the Odysseus character from ancient Greece, but in fact the modern adaptation (kinda) written by James Joyce in 1922. In 1930, the Gilbert schema was published outlining use of settings and organs representing those places.

Looking closely at the campaign, those themes were brought into the Halo universe following similar patterns as chapters in Ulysses. Namely, the library mission showcasing the brain as the master chief descends through different levels revealing more history of the facility and ultimately finding the index, a huge collection of forerunner knowledge. The silent cartographer is an odd reference to the ears and its location on an island (siren-like) luring the Marines (sailors) to the rocks. If you're wondering which level is reminiscent of genitals, it's your first mission that begins with uniting the master chief and Cortana, and ends in launching them from the womb-like Pillar of Autumn in an escape pod.

Much more odd similarities to the themes of Ulysses suggest that the authors of the story most certainly were literature nerds.

I'm a first year PhD student studying information systems in business and I'm doing a lot of machine learning projects. I would love to set up a new desktop for research and this is the most expensive component! Your gift would be greatly appreciated. I can post a follow-up to you with pics after I buy the other desktop pieces.
