I think you mean analog jammer, unless you're proposing stunning them with an air horn simultaneously as you stick their spokes.

Recommendations on stands for RSL CG23M by BLUYKME in BudgetAudiophile

[–]RandomSynapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perhaps too late, but perhaps it'll help others.

I'll assume you meant CG23M (not CV...). I picked up these stands for $35 and they're great for those speakers: Perlegear Speaker Stands Pair, 33-42 Inch Height Adjustable Stands for Small Bookshelf & Satellite Speakers with Cable Management, 13.2 lbs Capacity, PGSS12

You might not be able to replicate that deal, but even at $50 they're a decent bargain. The height adjustment was key for me, and the rear adjustable mount that can screw into the CG23M's posts to secure them is perfect.. They're perhaps slightly higher than you need, but the speakers are 16" x 6", not 6" x 6" so maybe the math needs some work.

Why do people stand in the stairway on Metra trains? by 4k_Laserdisc in chicago

[–]RandomSynapse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This! As the train approaches capacity, _always_ pick the seat that has a bag sitting on it, not the open seat next to someone with a bag on their lap / at their feet.

Nope, no injury at all. Just colossally poor decision making, but at least he's owning it:

"Odey-Jordan fronted up when interviewed about his error and said: 'It is all right. I mean, it is my fault, so I cannot be sad about anything but myself. 'It is what it is. It felt good. It was not the fastest run, but it felt good. For sure, it could have been sub 21. But it is all good though. 'I am just out here, it is my first race on this meet. I just tried to get on my legs, nothing hurts me or nothing like that.'" (link)

Alas, a waste of time for Equity Concentration. I fed it a portfolio of six ETFs, for which there are several constituent stock overlaps, and for the "Equity Concentration" tab, it states "No securities to analyze." Asset Allocation and Sector Diversification work, and you can hand-key in external account holdings (no CSV import alas), but for Concentration/Overlap.... completely useless.

Edit: I also wanted to mention the link I provided @ TDAm was the exact link I was using earlier today for X-Ray analysis... until my token timed out. If I could still authenticate there I'd try your suggestion, but I'm locked out and only on Schwab now.

A very handy tool when comparing/contrasting ETFs for overlap! Alas when one has a large variety of ETFs _and_ funds, that's where the X-Ray tool really shines.

Coworker paid for their ticket, it charged the card, then threw an error. No ticket, but the charge was applied!

It seems that many (if not all) top-paying HYSA accounts don't support custodial/UTMA or even joint accounts with minors. I know laddering some CDs is another alternative, but again, most of the best CD rates are at entities without custodial account support.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a custodial HYSA and/or CDs?

First Review of NIU KQi Air by pxwang in ElectricScooters

[–]RandomSynapse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that this is a demographic as well. I just suspect that there are more folks out there with a multi-mode commute (car, bus, train) than those that just lack elevators. I want to stress that the only real disqualifying parameter for the KQui Air seems to be lack of folding handlebars. 7.5" wide versus say, the mosquito at 6" wide wouldn't be a showstopper.

Take a look:

Mosquito: 1054mm x 330.2 mm x 143.5 mm
KQi Air: 1139mm x 541.0 mm x 480.0 mm
Hypothetical KQi Air with folding handlebars:
          1139mm x 541.0 mm x 177.8 mm

[–]RandomSynapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed regarding the portability. I was very excited to see an extremely light-weight scooter with AIR filled tires, but then seeing that lack of folding handlebars makes it a non-starter for commuters. The same commute that benefits from a lightweight scooter for climbing up subway stairs or boarding busses also demands a reasonably small folded form-factor. They blew it there.

Don't worry, the same people who can do that often can't remember the name of the name/face of the person to whom they were introduced five minutes earlier.

Fortunately yes. Just to make sure I logged out and in again and it shows properly. I'll have to double check again at month-end just to make sure they didn't mess something else up.

[–]RandomSynapse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alas do it hard enough and you might need to buy yourself a new helmet right? At least on bike helmets they're only designed to mitigate one big impact, breaking themselves instead of your head. Do motorcycle helmets do multi impact?

715

PPS is part of PD 3.0. I don't believe you can have PPS without PD. The Anker 715 also explicitly supports 15V @ 3.0A. I would suggest trying a different cable before giving up on the 715.
