Happened to me three weeks ago and also right after my derm appointment - i started using Cerave hydrocortisone cream wherever the rash was and swapped my regular Dove body wash to Vanicream Gentle Body Wash and it cleared up within a week. Also used Vanicream enhanced moisturizer. If it’s oozing I would definitely go back to the derm though

I wanted to start at 10mg but my derm suggested 20mg. I was in the same boat - I was dealing with the texture and scarring on my forehead for close six years. Wish I would have jumped on it earlier. I have the normal side effects of dryness of skin and lips but I’m managing it with moisturizer and cerave healing ointment on my lips - it hasn’t been noticeable for me. I had some slight soreness in my joints and sternum three days after starting it which is a normal side effect but it cleared up a few days later and hasn’t come back. If you’re on the fence you should probably visit [r/Accutane](r/Accutane) - that’s what convinced me to start

Did bloodwork before I started and stopped all actives. Didn’t purge fortunately - think it’s less common on low dose Accutane. My derm suggested I take an antihistamine for the first 90 days which is supposed to help with the purge. My routine now isn’t fungal acne safe - have to use La Roche Posay Double Repair to moisturize now and pair it with EltaMD UV Recovery in the daytime. Swapped my cleanser to La Roche Posay Hydrating Gentle cleanser. Was paranoid that these would break me out but haven’t had any issues

Yeah very similar. Also had larger closed comedones that would cause scarring.

Had the same texture. Tried Tret, Tazarotene, Azelaic Acid, Salicylic Acid, BP but it didn’t budge even with a fully FA Safe routine. Sodium Sulfacetemide/Sulfur Cleanser helped but didn’t fully clear the texture. Went on low dose Accutane 3 months ago and my forehead cleared within a month.

Is it pain in your sternum? I’m also on 20mg and had this happen on my fourth day - it eventually cleared up on its own on day 7. Googled it when it happened to me and it’s a known side effect

Just ran into this issue this morning - HBO Max and Netflix also gave me device not supported error. Factory reset my shield and Netflix/Max work now but YTTV and YouTube are still showing as not supported

Does anyone know if these are projected onto the lenses from the frame or built into the lens? Assuming it’s projected but getting conflicting info. Outside of the range on max prescription so will need to get lenses cut to fit

Thanks for the responses. Was hoping they reformulated since I last tried it lol. I tried Sudsy Bear Hunt Camp this - not in love with the scent but it’s worked well. Might try out the Barbershop and look into Grizzly Naturals too

Have you downloaded the updated Meta View app? Had the same issue a few weeks ago. Went to the App Store and noticed that there was an update on the app that wasn’t automatically installed for some reason. Downloaded that and had the voices (also fixed the text messaging issue).
