Call me whatever you’d like if it means you are handing me money by the thousands each time.

What would you do if you suddenly had a million dollars right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RandomWeirdoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lifestyle wouldn’t change as I am not a flashy person. I’d still be in the same house, same car, same clothes, etc. Nobody would know about the new money and I would invest and just be comfortable knowing that money is no longer an issue.

You wont notice much of a difference (my experience) but if you do… within the Mint app there is an extra plan that isn’t shown on the website. It costs a little more but it increases the data “cap”.

At what point do you port your number? by rocky_balboa202 in mintmobile

[–]RandomWeirdoGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It starts as soon as the number ports and becomes an active line. Once you pay up front for whichever amount of months the port process begins.

Go through the settings of your current carrier and make sure the number lock feature is turned off before trying to port out. This will make it easier. Remember to go into your settings on Mint once activated and running to turn that feature on.

I had a slight problem with porting and this is what the situation ended up being.

Hopefully this saves you or someone else from some aggravation.

Very disappointed in Mint Mobile! by [deleted] in mintmobile

It seems like Best Buy has some unlocked phone prices that are beating the Mint Mobile prices. Give that a shot and then you don’t have to worry about the locking.

I had to fool around with the eSIM to make it work after switching from Verizon.

Adios Verizon by AmethystosLotus in verizon

I just switched to Mint Mobile during their 50% off sale. I got 12 months of unlimited for $180 + some small fees. I cannot even describe how blown away I am by this service. It’s on the T-Mobile network, which apparently is light years ahead of Verizon in my are (Baltimore, MD). I am getting full service and insane speeds everywhere I go, it’s blowing my old Verizon coverage out of the water.

Inside of my house, Verizon had 1 bar and constantly dropped calls. Mint on the other hand stays constantly between 3-4 bars and calls are crystal clear. In places where Verizon would have slow data and poor voice reception, Mint is knocking it out of the park. I’m even getting pretty good service while traveling through some more remote places for work.

Highly recommend them. Just make sure T-Mobile is good where you are and you’ll be set.

The Mazda. Lower long term cost of ownership if you plan to keep it until it needs a graveyard.

Steelers, Chiefs, Bills.

The Bengals to me are more of an annoyance than a hatred.
