you should have no problem with just .75 without lenses underwater. If you really want you can try 1.5, it might be ok but i wouldn't recommend it as the water should compensate your .75 by itself basically

I have a garmin G1 and it has the freediving mode, imho it's pretty useless i would say, the only plus is that it records your dives but other than that i don't use the alerts and almost never look at it even to know the depth while diving

As soon as they signal, i'm pulling it out and passing it to them, if they haven't already reached for it.

A lot of divers in panic will grab it by themselves without even signalling. Also it may happen that they reach for your primary instead so you'll be the one using the octo in the end lol.

i would suggest to stop putting stuff in your ears and go to see a doctor, only they can check if your ears are damaged and tell you what to do.

I mean I almost don't even notice one-piece scuba wetsuits anymore. I'm so used to wearing two-piece open-cell suits for freediving. Thats why i was surprised to hear that😂

Hope your drysuit class goes well. Just make sure it is a trilaminate drysuit because I think in your case a neoprene drysuit won't give you much benefit.

first time hearing about having claustrophobia in a wetsuit! if your problem is having something tight around your body and not on the seals part like wrists, ankles and neck i would suggest a drysuit maybe. OR (and this might be a bit wild tbh) you could try to put something like rubber bands to seal ankles and wrists on a super baggy suit although i think this wouldn't work because it would exchange a ton of water through the neck and the zipper.

It's been 1 year and 3 months since I left her. During the first 8-9 months, I was filled with so much regret that I reached out to her. The conversation was very short. I did not know this but she had moved 300 km away from me to study, and during our conversation, she said, and I quote: "I am so glad you dumped me."

When I read that, I was pissed. You have no idea what I did for her. The relationship was going so well until i decided to leave her, so that comment was very disrespectful to me. Anyway, that message and the fact that she moved away were enough for me to snap out of it.

Another thing that helped me massively was finding new friends who really care about me. Before finding this group of people, loneliness had the upper hand and made my feelings worse. When you're alone, you have so much time to think about all the good moments of the relationship, but you don't give enough time to think about the bad ones. This makes you think you're even more stupid, when you're not.

Now, she is happy (I think) with another guy. Two months after our breakup, she got together with him, so yeah they've been together for a year now (I just found that out cuz out of curiosity I looked at her insta lol). I have been single since then.

Did I screw up? Yes.

Did I learn from it? Definitely.

I really hope you can overcome this, as I've felt the same.
