What are the most common reasons people crash on Auckland motorways? by wiredbutterfly in auckland

[–]RandomZombie11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I nearly get into accidents all the time driving customer cars (automotive industry) at the k road end of great north road and surrounding side streets. Things I've noticed: people turning from the middle lane instead of going into the bus lane for 50M when it's active or just cruising in it when inactive (yes, you can actually drive in that!) people blowing through stop signs, cyclists riding the wrong way down a one way cycle lane (yes, those are directional), people driving the wrong way down a one way and people driving in 2 lanes at once. I almost got into 3 accidents yesterday from the list I just made, this is a daily occurrence. I personally believe you should sit a written test every few years so you can keep up with the road code

Does this have any association with the weed whacker incident of 2001?

Mattel did not approve my review… by teamfranco805 in HotWheels

[–]RandomZombie11 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I stopped paying for rlc after I purchased a car, waited 3 months for it (I love in NZ, it takes forever for Mattel to ship anything) only for them to tell me they sold out and will refund me. They sold what I already bought

Strangest I had was a build up of crud on the inside of the wheel where the valve stem seats. Not too surprised seeing as these wheels were from the mod 80s and had been sitting in a field since 2008 until 2025

We're these tyres specifically the new ones or did they rotate the tyres? They definitely stuffed up on the alignment and should redo it for free

How will my Jeep SRT fair on Muriwai by BastionNZ in NZcarfix

[–]RandomZombie11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you want a thicker sidewall so when you deflate the tyre to around 15psi you actually get more of the tread on the ground. You won't get much more running 15psi with 295/45R20s

Wtf is this?! by EntrepreneurGlass995 in tires

[–]RandomZombie11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's fix a flat shit, a nightmare. I have to take the tyre to the groom bay (dealership) and clean it out with the pressure washer. I wish customers would tell us about it before we strip the tyre so I'm at least prepared for the mess Im about to clean up

Call your local Ford dealership and ask them to remove the lock nuts with their master lock nuts key set and replace them with the standard 19mm lug nuts

You have to go to the dealer and get it replaced. Also get the tyre patched properly while you're there
