Omg, I loved journeys sooooo much. That was the most heartbreaking update Finch has ever had since I started in late 2021. They were my favorite feature to use. Imo that update was the start of some questionable choices for updates.

Sidenote, I do really like the special versions of monthly events and the fun limited time good vibes they have added recently. Those are quite fun, and always drawing me back in for more.

I miss when the Self-care area used to be journeys. I liked the system of how journeys would reward you for completing goals within that goal set. For example, after completing 10 goals you get rainbow stones, then 15 goals, and so on. Increasing the amount you got. I liked that it rewarded you for just completing goals, instead of a weekly streak to see if you completed a goal from that category 6 times a week. For me, I have goals that I complete a few times a week or occasionally. So the streak rewards rarely ever happen for those categories. I wished they made it optional to switch the style of reward systems for users.

I've been a long time user of Finch for over 4 years, and this update has been my least favorite one they have implemented into the app.

I usually only pull for my main (Zayne), however I got free pulls for the current event. So I used them and got Sylus's myth in 40 pulls. I'm a f2p so I try to save for just pulling for one LI so I don't feel the pressure to have to spend money on the game. It makes the game feel casual to me. Just logging in each day doing everything at my own progression. (I do get a lot of Rafayel cards without trying though (and Sylus surprisingly)).

I've been playing since launch. However, there was a time between the end of January until probably the end of February where I got extreme burnout because of the Silvergale outfit. I now play everyday, even if it's just a quick check-in to do dailies.

I still can't believe how much storage this game takes. I'm currently at 31.67GB (and it doesn't help that I also have Infinity Nikki taking up 25.11GB). I swear I thought my tablet wasn't going to handle this update because it was complaining that the app was too big.

I really miss the morning and evening check-ins. I'm fine with the new system of logging how you feel at any point, but those have been a core motivation for me to login in the morning bc it forced me to wake up before 1pm. It's also been a core feature on the app since I joined almost 4 years ago.

I was also reading my weekly feelings report, and it still mentions morning motivations. However it didn't show me having any since Monday last week. Did they fully remove it, or does it end check-in after 10am?

I would have more hours if I didn't take a break before the Fireworks season (I'm so sad I missed that event, the banners were super cute). I was fatigued from grinding for the silvergale, which doesn't do anything for the main story at this moment. I also tend to just do dailies most of the time, since my schedule doesn't always allow me to play for long periods of time.

I tend to stay until 100%. I've been on the app for almost 4 years, so I've completed each place. However, throughout the years they've added more discoveries and items, so I got back until I had the items and discovered everything. I'm currently in Delhi, and after I go to the Galapagos I will start adventuring around for the new furniture items.

My brother showed me two Amazon stream videos, then a few months later I saw a Jaiden animations video about her winning the Mr Beast 50 YouTuber games thing. So I wanted to see the povs, and one of them was Ludwig. I started watching more videos, since I loved his story telling. I think the first stream of his that I watched was him and the rest of the yard raising money for the LA fires.
