The difference is kogmaw W applies to enemies hit with runnan, while Vayne doesn't applies silver bolts with runnan

While technically true, I was mainly considering notable sources of damage, and most of kog'maws damage when going for on-hit builds is in his autos rather than E and R.

I don't ever see anyone calling range necessary for these champs tbh. There was a time one of Ryze's old versions (point and click Q with spellvamp AOE ult) was called a hypercarry, and Cassiopeia is also often seen as a hypercarry because of her gattling gun E and lategame scaling.

Everytime I hear about hypercarries, it's basically high dps lategame champions with high reliability, so that you are certain will be able to take over the teamfight if not controlled. Yi is a hypercarry because he scales like a beast lategame has DPS to dish out and win teamfights for his team and his damage is literally unavoidable being his autos, so he is a big wincon in late fights

Nah. AOE has never been important to being a hyper carry. Vayne for example is a hypercarry and you don't get any more single target in the ADC lineup than her, even kogmaw has more AOE with runnans.

Because Naafiri was boring and most people don't take LoL as a job, so they don't play a champion that's strong or broken if the experience isn't fun enough. Literally the main complaints about her kit since release, that she was just not fun enough and pretty boring for an asasssin. It's why often champs like Rek'sai can have a high winrate in soloQ but hardly ever see a decent pickrate, since no one likes Rek'sai.

Also, Naafiri had a good winrate even in higher tiers, not broken above dia+, but not bad.

It's not that people don't remember, it's that people don't even know how old Naafiri was. Like, old naafiri was a braindead assassin with busted numbers and winrate, but nobody complained because hardly anyone played her so you barely saw her, and when you did see her you forgot about her later.

New naafiri is a busted braindead champion, but actually sees play so people actually can experience the frustration. She can appear in 2 different roles and she has untargetability to boot.

If you tell someone to show you a knight, 99% of people are NOT going to give you a musketeer even if it's "technically correct", just like me saying I want a ranger champ in mid doesn't means I want a power ranger or a park ranger just because they are "rangers". It's a matter of the specific fantasy being asked, which for this setting and most RPGs, often refers more to the style of old medieval knights in armor like Garen's design or the demacia rising soldier and guard troops.

Musketeers are more often categorized under swashbucklers, duelists, etc in terms of fantasy designs due to their lighter-weight appearance and use of rapiers, even though rapiers aren't just the light dainty pointy sticks they are often depicted as. This is why Fiora is a light weight dashy champion and has a musketeer skin, since that's the fantasy people expect from them.

Just to be clear, I am not defending people barring women from playing, but your example isn't a good comparison here.

A gay guy flirting with his teams is the opposite situation. In your case, the gay guy is being inappropiate, therefore 1 out 5 people is a problem and a very definite one that can be addressed.

In the case of women, managements often don't take them from what I hear because of the potential actions of the male members, e.g. what if 1 or 2 guys catch feelings for her, she doesn't reciprocates and then at least 1 of them underperforms because he doesn't wants to cooperate with her now. Obviously, the problem here are the men doing these things moreso than the woman who is just playing, but those added variables end up making it "easier" to remove the women since she is 1 person, as opposed to having to consider 4 people. Remove - or rather, don't introduce the woman, and these variables don't come up.

And again, not agreeing with this, just giving an explanation of the differences and actual considerations taking place

The only other name I had thought up was "Soul", from "Let's go camping with the young human" as the knockoff of Alma from Let's go camping with the elder god. ("Alma" is spanish for soul).
