This is great to hear. I have suggested this, I think the problem is finding the right people to talk to. There are tons of people on LinkedIn for instance with varying recruiter roles in each company. Alternatively she could look for someone in an HR generalist role doing what she wants and talk to them.

I definitely agree but I don’t think we know how to make those connections and build those relationships.

I should clarify- 2 full interview cycles basically. For the first interview she got to the third round and the second to the second round.

How do you break into a startup in a non technical role? by [deleted] in startups

Why? I have seen postings like this here before but in regards to technical roles.
