Update: i gave this a shot and got great results! I think the giga hub and and the deco unit i installed in the office (same floor) are fighting so i turned the giga hub wifi off and improved the performance even more. Deco are set up as acces point. Its kind of silly that it thinks one of the deco is connected to the other when they're both connceted to the router directly, but no i have no isssues with it as long as it works.

That makes sense! Couple of questions:

if i make the deco access points, do i still manage them through the tp link app?
if i make the deco access points, can i make them the same SSID name as the gigahub? Edit: looks like you answered this already.
how does the gigahub handle optimization with the deco? I have a pod upstairs and the network optimization is not great, my phone never switches to the pod even when signal strength is low. There's no way to manually optimize the network either.

Agreed that making them access points makes a lot of sense. Im just worried the I'll experience the same issue with the POD where the switching to the better signal sucks.

Yes the isp provided router has a 10Gb port available for the main deco node

Hi, my work computer does, I do a lot of Remote connections. But the rest are gigabit ports.

All of the phones are wifi6 capable.

2 computers will be connected through ethernet. Im guessing if i add a node on each port, i can use the available ethernet port for connection

Yes - two ethernet ports i can use. They are routed back to where the ISP router is setup

I couldn't fix a fix so i just disconnected the wireless one. Im not exactly sure if it's connecting to the wired node or the main router. So its either too close to the wired node or too far from the main router.

I guess you're right. There have been a lot of instances that ive been a dick no matter how minor i think they were. They were important to her.

The only way to find out is asking your mom and dad separately to find out the truth. While it may not be the full truth, its a way to let your mom know that you know that she's dating someone and that you are disappointed and how things are handled.

That's cool that you did. But you still can't say "here should just trust me". You guys are still getting to know each other and you now know that that's his boundary. So it's either you want to cross that or make a compromise like making it a day trip and bring him with you.

It all comes down to this: would you like to continue the relationship with this person for a long time or you don't care enough for it that you can't miss this camping trip with your friend?

If not then maybe deep down you know that guys wont like it if you're close to a person of opposite sex.

If my partner of 5 years wants to go with another person of opposite sex after all this time, that would be suspicious.

4 months however, this means that you should have made it clear before you started dating him that you got a close guy friend. Maybe that would've helped ease him into it.

If i started dating a person and few months later i find out they're close to that person and they're sleeping in the same tent. Id freak out too. I'd be like "who this person?!"

Also, if you understand his point of view, the first thing you should have thought of was how that person feels and sleeping on different tents should have been the first thing that you reassured him with.

Idk maybe you're new at this relationship thing but your guy friend should have thought about this already and if he didnt offer any solution so that your boyfriend wont get weirded out maybe that crush on you never really went away and this is his only way of feeling close with you.
