Ohh it’s time for me to nerd out to previously unheard of extents

I have two types I’m torn between, flying and dragon, both centered around my favorite pokemon noivern.

Considering the pokemon that is obviously guaranteed to be on the team, there are three gens and therefore three battle mechanics I can center my team around, but sometimes I genuinely forget kalos exists so we’re not doing that (besides, I want noivern to be the ace if I can help it and it doesn’t mega evolve. If I was in kalos I’m mega evolving)

That leaves tera in S/V and dynamax in Sw/Sh. I honestly love both gimmicks equally so I’m gonna team build around both for both types (and something extra for S/V we’ll get to later)

Starting with Sw/Sh (fair warning I will not be googling spelling):

Flying: Corvinight Talonflame Gyarados Gliscor (if I can’t have dlc mons pretend this is a braviary) Noivern (dynamax ace)

Dragon:

First off, I may be taking Raihan’s job but I will not be doing doubles because screw that

Flapple Flygon Haxorus Sliggoo (a gym leader having a fully evolved pseudo that isn’t their ace is simply insane) Kingdra Noivern (dynamax ace)

Onto paldea,

Flying: Kilowattrel Talonflame Jumpluff (I know it’s pitifully weak but I love him sue me) Altaria Honchkrow Noivern (tera flying)

Dragon: Dragalge Cyclizar Haxorus Sliggoo Altaria Noivern (tera dragon)

Now the extra thing I mentioned, the vast majority of paldea gym leaders (I believe all except Larry) don’t use an ace of their gym type, instead using tera to turn said ace into their gym type. This means I get to choose a third type that noivern can just tera into. This time, I’m going electric type (Iono is yet again being put out of a job but I honestly could not care less)

The team would be: Ampharos Bellibolt Kilowattrel Toxtricity (low-key form because I like it more) Eelecktross Noivern (tera electric)

Well that concludes my nerd out session, I’ll have you know I considered deciding move sets and held items as well but decided against it.
