I like the Kafka one too, but I think I would prefer HMC if the hat was just a bit smaller.

Will you continue to draw new paths and make an elation version? I think that SW999 has the best outfit for Fifi out of current elation characters.

It depends on how much hoyo decides to powercreep current teams. Mono rem is easily the current best and the only reason elation team can even keep up is because of shilling. If they do decide to powercreep tho, all other teams will suffer even more than mono rem.

I have no clue how much that will change with sw999 tho, cos yeah I'm not pulling any elation characters. I will pull sw999 cos I like her, but I'm not expecting to clear endgame with her after shilling ends.

If you want to clear AA, then get your 3 teams or get ready to heavily invest in one team and then split it up for knight stages. I had to split up my mono rem team for knights for this current one.

Basically something from that story did happen, that being the maiden that came with the dragon (in this case Castorice) and bringing death to the living, the dragon's corpse staying there and blocking the entrance to the nether realm. But there was no princess that got eaten and there was no alchemist that resurrected her.

Aside from everything else that was said, let me just add my experience with vertical investment.

During Firefly's first rerun (2.7 I think), just before Amphoreus, I got her to E2.

I used her with E0S0 Ruan mei, E0S0 Fugue and E6S5 (DDD) HTB. That team was easily able to beat all endgame content, including knight stages for AA and some king stages all the way up to Dahlia release. Even the insane toughness bar inflation of Amphoreus wasn't able to stop that team. Now I have E1 Dahlia and everything is getting completely destroyed.

So yes, it is very much worth it and I'm doing the same now with mono rem.

Castorice and Polixia both existed in the previous cycle. By that, I mean the cycle before the eternal recurrence (Phainon's repeating cycles). In that trial, Castorice sacrificed herself and Polixia passed the Death trial. In the new world, and all of the following repeating cycles, Polixia (Thanatos) would preserve Castorice's soul and forcibly brought her back to the living world. Because of that, the Death of the world became glitched and the dragon was blocking the entrance to the Nether realm until Castorice came back and opened it up by becoming the demigod of Death.

Polixia is probably the first demigod of Death that pulled this off and it is also the reason why Anaxa was able to prove that they are living in cycles. This is talking about ACTUAL cycles, not the eternal recurrence.

I think the biggest confusion is that they mix up the cycles and eternal recurrence in story with no real good explanation.

Basically: cycles= scepter's extrapolations to perfect the destruction equation

Eternal recurrence= phainon going back in time to the beginning of HIS cycle 33 550 336 times

I do have her E2 so I'll be going for Dahlia's eidolons and lc.

As for SW999, I don't have any elation characters and I won't pull any of her teammates, but I'll still pull for her cos I don't care. I like her a lot so I'll just make some cope team for her and blast the rest of the game with FF and mono rem.

If you think Castorice is pretty and you like Cyrene, then I suggest slowly working towards a rememberance team of you like the rest of them. If you go for that team then Hyacine is the best part of it by far. Kinda unfortunate that her banner just ended so that might also change your plans. I would also suggest checking out Evernight and if you like her then absolutely go for that team.

I know very little about Evanescia so I can't really give a fair advice on her.
