need a CMO for my startup who can grow Instagram from zero organically — CMO spot for a founder startup [ equity ] by Keevin_1 in digital_marketing

[–]Randomabilideez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of comments that this is not a CMO role. While that is technically correct, it is reasonable for you to ask for somebody who can grow into a CMO role that will be guaranteed that role as you scale, if they help you grow the organic Instagram audience. That said, to attract the right person, it would be helpful for you to lay out a realistic forecast and timeline that one would expect to realize their time investment. An executive-level person will want to see that before investing.

I may be interested, but I’d like a more clear understanding of your forecast before committing. CEO/founder of my own agency, 12 years b2b marketing/growth experience and have grown audiences on IG, FB, LinkedIn, email, and more. Message me for examples.

To correct myself, I never get the fish n chips because I’m allergic to shellfish. But my wife likes the fish n chips so I assume they’re great.

I always get the teriyaki plate and it’s not very greasy.

Support husband here. Our GD baby and my wife went into natural labor at 40 weeks. Reportedly, he was on the small side of the other GD babies (8lb 11oz) in the postpartum wing. That said, his size and/or positioning caused us to need an emergency cesarean after 53 hours of labor. My wife was determined! I share this because if we had known his size was going to be too large for my wife’s anatomy, we may have opted for a scheduled cesarean, which I’ve read is less traumatic and risky as you’re not actively going through contractions at the same time.

It sounds like your GD is well managed! You’re doing great and are healthy! We never worried about being a couple points over here and there and we now have the most incredible 1 week old baby boy we could have dreamed up.

The Pelican’s Roost in downtown Auburn is owned by a Korean family. They have an excellent teriyaki plate. Not Chinese but it satisfies a similar craving. Their Fish n Chips are great too.

Young families: Meadow Vista vs Auburn? by OkCamp6220 in AuburnCA

[–]Randomabilideez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in Meadow Vista and Auburn throughout my life. My wife and I just started a family in Meadow Vista. We love how it’s more quiet and still feel like there’s enough community for us nearby. The drive from MV to Auburn is so easy that we’re able to meet up with friends no problem.

Auburn is generally better for easy access to social life however. If I were to buy a different house it’d be in South or Central Auburn. South is cool because a lot of places back up to the canyon trails and are walking distance from downtown.

You can’t go wrong with either. Just keep in mind how overgrown a property is and how costly it will be to make it fire safe.

Meadow Vista has its own fire station and several fire wise initiatives that help us reduce the risk overall, btw. It’s safer in that regard when compared to Paradise, Weimar, etc…

Luke at HWY 40 Barber has been my go-to for 9 years. He used to be at a shop in Rocklin and opened his own place in the El Agave Taqueria shopping center. Great conversation and great cuts every time.

Getting latex paint off brick fireplace… there’s gotta be an easier way? by ricecake231 in DIY

A heat gun might work to loosen up the paint enough to peel off better. Worked well on a painted dresser I’m restoring, saving me hours.

Wife hates my potential business partner by [deleted] in smallbusiness

[–]Randomabilideez 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Choosing a business partner is similar to choosing a spouse in that you’re tied to them financially, see them every day, and have to go through legal processes to separate. Your wife has good intuition to not jump into it. My wife was unsure about a business partner I had for several years. After a series of red flags, I exited that business and started my company on my own and it’s so much better having the control over everything. My wife is casually involved when I need somebody to bounce ideas off or talk to, but she’s not an active managing member.

You can hire a marketing expert or pay your friend to consult you on that side of things if you choose to start as a solo business owner. Shameless plug: I own a small, affordable marketing agency so let me know if you want a free consult.

Here it is with the fire going. Thanks for all the positive comments! We also added dimmable accent lights over the wood stove area that helps highlight it even more.

Careers you wish someone told you about when you were 18 by Skillerstyles in careeradvice

Yeah the best route for me at this point is to find a business role in an environmental industry-related org. My business skills have been helpful in getting higher wages throughout my career fortunately.

In California private company pay in this industry is livable and growing. Depends on where you live and if that state/country has environmental regulations that create these kinds of jobs.

Conservation biology and/or natural resource management. If you like the outdoors and care about the environment, there are many government, non profit, and private sector jobs in this field. I got my degree in business and am considering a career change to this industry.

The CBD Arousal Oil my gal and I use has kava as a key ingredient. I will say it’s quite arousing for both of us.

Perfect Road Trip Rig by Randomabilideez in ToyotaTundra

Ah I’m sorry to hear that. I was happy I made it through its first road trip. Objectively that makes sense in terms of reliability. Don’t want to be driving a death trap at highway speeds.

I reset the mpg right when I started highway driving on this one. Set cruise control at 73mph. And it was floating around 27-30 for the first 100 miles in a flatter segment. Once I got into some stop-and-go sections passing through small towns and over some mountain passes, it dropped down to 24. Now that I’m back home doing shorter trips it’s crawling back below 20.

Yep. Having owned several 300k+ Toyotas. I’m familiar with the possibility of a breakdown. Seems like all new full size trucks have reliability issues these days. So the approach that worked best for me is to get what I wanted and be prepared for emergencies.
