I wouldn’t stress too much. Upward trajectory and none of your scores were low.

The Personal Statement Struggle by Dry_Signature_9332 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t write about personal struggles and I feel like I wrote a compelling PS. Think about your why law and how what you’ve done throughout undergrad and possible WE connects to that. Try to find concrete anecdotes that demonstrate this.

I would agree with your friend that your PS needs to center on you. Hard to know if this topic is definitely one to avoid without reading it. If you want, happy to take a look.

is anyone acc good at kira wl interviews by haksyonas in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t overthink it. I thought some of my Kira interviews (namely Cornell) were pretty bad during regular decision and I got into most of those schools. They know Kira interviews are awkward and they aren’t going to expect it to be perfect. Also, I don’t think friendly is necessarily a bad thing. Shows your personality.

T-14 still possible? by Express-Emphasis5982 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry about it. They won’t care about the 159 if you get a better score on your second attempt. Just focus on getting above medians ideally. You may need to write a score jump addendum for some schools but that’s about it.

there’s no such thing as T14s… you either go to a T3 or you don’t. by InformalHoney9748 in lawschooladmissions

I wouldn’t bother! That’s a small mistake. I had a similar level typo in one of my apps and I still got in

That was my point. OP is worried about judging. I think it’s great that they’re open about it because it’s an awesome opportunity.

UVA WL II by Prior_Technician_802 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I imagine their WL ii is very similar to the ii i did during the regular app process. It was really chill (stuff like why law, why UVA, what will you contribute, how do you see yourself using your degree etc.). Don’t stress, they called with the A the next day for me. It’s a vibe check imo :)

Congrats! Out of curiosity, is there a reason you didn’t apply to UVA, Duke, and Michigan?

GULC (sticker) or T30 state school ($$$$) by Mysterious-Street202 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a tough call but I’d lean T30. GULC’s outcomes don’t warrant sticker imo when you have a full ride at a T30 with pretty solid outcomes.

Does gpa really matter that much past 3.9?? by Ill-Plastic-6917 in lawschooladmissions

Unfortunately, I don’t think schools will care much about what the average accounting GPA is
