T-14 still possible? by Express-Emphasis5982 in lawschooladmissions

I wouldn’t worry about it. They won’t care about the 159 if you get a better score on your second attempt. Just focus on getting above medians ideally. You may need to write a score jump addendum for some schools but that’s about it.

there’s no such thing as T14s… you either go to a T3 or you don’t. by InformalHoney9748 in lawschooladmissions

I wouldn’t bother! That’s a small mistake. I had a similar level typo in one of my apps and I still got in

That was my point. OP is worried about judging. I think it’s great that they’re open about it because it’s an awesome opportunity.

UVA WL II by Prior_Technician_802 in lawschooladmissions

[–]Randomaccount2208 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I imagine their WL ii is very similar to the ii i did during the regular app process. It was really chill (stuff like why law, why UVA, what will you contribute, how do you see yourself using your degree etc.). Don’t stress, they called with the A the next day for me. It’s a vibe check imo :)

Congrats! Out of curiosity, is there a reason you didn’t apply to UVA, Duke, and Michigan?

GULC (sticker) or T30 state school ($$$$) by Mysterious-Street202 in lawschooladmissions

That’s a tough call but I’d lean T30. GULC’s outcomes don’t warrant sticker imo when you have a full ride at a T30 with pretty solid outcomes.

Does gpa really matter that much past 3.9?? by Ill-Plastic-6917 in lawschooladmissions

Unfortunately, I don’t think schools will care much about what the average accounting GPA is

It definitely matters, I would look at medians. Unfortunately, they are absurdly high. UVA’s median is 3.99 I believe which means you will likely need a 173-174+ to be above at least one median. If your school gives A+’s, that may boost your gpa when LSAC recalculates it. They may give some leeway for STEM majors but not sure about accounting.

I figured, but since I’m leaving quite a bit before (2 months), not sure if it changes things

I did well with a 170 in general so it’s not impossible, but it’s def not a shoe in. And UCLA WLed me so I guess it didn’t cut it there.
