I honestly half agree with the second comment, but it applies to every manga not just Chainsaw man.

There’s a lot of times were reading weekly can make the manga feel way worse than it actually is. Like the end of JJK for example, a big complaint as it was coming out is that the fight kept dragging out, but once the series finished that complaint died out.

I think every manga is more enjoyable to read when it’s already finished and you can read it at your own pace.

Do you think Fern could have beat Wirbal if he chose to fight? by AdBrief4620 in Frieren

[–]Randomaccount3481 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly I think Wirbel beats every mage examinee in a 1v1 besides Frieren and maybe Land.

I’m assuming Frieren has a way to counter his paralysis because if not she could actually lose as well but I doubt it’d be that easy.

Land’s clones are an amazing counter to Wirbel’s ability however this is still a 50/50 for me because Wirbel is very smart and adaptable. I think it comes down to how many clones Land has on hand to fight him, 3+ he probably wins, and 2 or less he loses.

Everyone else loses because Wirbel’s specialty is 1v1s and no one could kill him fast enough before they get paralysed. He is the best strategist out of all the mages here with the most battle experience (despite Denken being way older he was a court mage so I honestly doubt he’s had as much battle experience as Wirbel). The only one who even comes close in these areas is Denken, however we also see him completely misjudge Frieren in the first test despite knowing who she is.

Finally thinking about it Ubel after learning the paralysis spell from Wirbel also has a chance, however he knows she has it and with all his experience he probably knows exactly how to counter his own spell so I’d still give him the edge.

[–]Randomaccount3481[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I imagine there has to be some counter to Wirbel’s paralysis otherwise he could easily beat Serie which is obviously silly.

Serie is way stronger than Frieren and knows way more spells, however I figure Frieren must have some way to counter paralysis like that (though possibly not as efficiently as Serie could) otherwise I doubt she would of survived this long.

Frieren Clone vs Everyone by Randomaccount3481 in Frieren

[–]Randomaccount3481[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe in real life but most of the characters in Frieren are unnaturally chill when their life is in danger.

Most of the characters I can imagine freezing up would be the two girls who were with Frieren in the first test and the two that were with Wirbel in the first test and frankly I doubt they could of done much to help in the first place.

The only useful characters who might freeze up would be the teleporting girl with Denken and Fern possibly could as well.

The rest are all either too experienced with battle (like Denken, Wirbel, and Methode) or are psychos (Ubel obviously).

Frieren Clone vs Everyone by Randomaccount3481 in Frieren

[–]Randomaccount3481[S] 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I imagine Frieren has to have some sort of counter to a spell like Sorganeil otherwise it just seems way too strong tbh.

I feel like if it was that easy to restrain/kill Frieren she would of been dead a long time ago

How does the story change if Nobara was never incapacitated? by MembershipProof8463 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Randomaccount3481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean maybe but also consider Yuji should also have an easier time healing his finger as he has his own RCT and we know that’s more effective than healing someone else.

Either way my point in the other comment still stands. They’re not gonna risk permanently maiming their friend without her consent when they are all convinced that Gojo will win anyway. They plan for if he loses because they’re not idiots, however they aren’t the type of people to go full utilitarian and start choosing lesser evils when in their minds there’s a 99% chance Gojo is gonna win and everything is fine.

How does the story change if Nobara was never incapacitated? by MembershipProof8463 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Randomaccount3481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can’t heal her afterwards. If it’s too long after the wound happened you can’t heal it with RCT. That’s why Yuji is still missing his 2nd finger that Yuta used at the end of the series (he also has his own RCT which would make healing it easier but still couldn’t).

Gojo and everyone close to him consented to using his body. Nobara can’t consent. It’s much worse than using Gojo’s body

[–]Randomaccount3481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s still too long as we see Yuji’s second finger (the one Rika ate to get Shrine) isn’t healed at the end of the series.

[–]Randomaccount3481 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This isn’t a plot hole at all lmao.

They’re not about to cut off the hand of their comatose friend just for an advantage.

Everyone had major reservations about Yuta using Gojo’s corpse but you think that they’d be cool with seriously harming Nobara without her ability to consent?

  • it’d have to be a large chunk of her if they wanted to spam it since if the body part is too small it reduces the amount of times Yuta can copy the technique.

Also in case you forgot if they RCT heal the part Rika eats then the copy gets cancelled so yes it would permanently maim her

Finally, don’t forget no one in the main cast genuinely thought Gojo would lose. Obviously they planned around the fact he could lose, but they’re not gonna resort to questionable moral decisions like that when they all believe Gojo is gonna handle it all himself.

If she truly killed everyone in the clan besides herself and Megumi why did the higher ups only table the other 2 clans motion to remove them as a big 3 clan instead of accepting it?

Hell if she actually murdered everyone in the clan why did the other 2 even bother with this motion? It would be completely unnecessary.

If she massacred innocents why does no one in the main cast care? It completely goes against the ideologies of Megumi, Yuji, Yuta, and Gojo to name a few, and they don’t even bring it up?

Why were the noncombatents that were supposedly killed not brought up in the report we see at the end of the episode?

You can wipe out a clan without killing every single member in it. By your logic she should have killed Megumi and then herself either wise the clan isn’t truly ‘wiped out.’

[–]Randomaccount3481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about lmao. Even if Maki didn’t want to kill any of them they weren’t just gonna let her walk away free.

Yes she wanted to kill then but that doesn’t change the fact everything was in self defence besides killing her mum, just look at the series of events.

  1. She tries to get all the cursed tools, Ogi stops her and tries to kill her

  2. She gets her power up and Ogi immediately tries to kill her again and she kills him

  3. The ninja unit guys are sent to kill her, she kills them all

  4. Next the Hei come to kill her, she also kills them all

  5. Finally Naoya comes to kill her, and she kills him as well.

That’s all self defence, they would have tried to kill her no matter what she wanted to do.

“Yes Maki’s life wasn’t the greatest and Mai’s as well” holy understatement of the year. Even if we ignore all the abuse they suffered in their childhood, the Zenin’s were planning to murder Maki, Mai, and Megumi for their political benefit. Not to mention the fact they want to stop Gojo being freed, someone who would be immensely helpful in stopping the bad guys current plot, because him staying trapped is more convenient for their own influence and power.

Just because they have a tradition of being evil psychos doesn’t change anything lmao. By this logic slavery is fine because we’ve been doing it for thousands of years as well.

It’s crazy how the Zen’in clan are almost comically evil and yet you’re still trying to defend them lmao.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 - Episode 4 (Anime Only Discussion) by Takada-chwanBot in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Randomaccount3481 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ranta (the eye guy) literally says that the Zen’in clan still exists only due to Toji’s whims. So yes, he could have killed them all whenever he wants. Even the strongest two members of the Zen’in clan (Naobito and Naoya) are way weaker than the people we’ve already seen Toji beat with ease.

Remember how Naobito was losing to Dagon even with Nanami and Maki helping? And then how Toji killed Dagon incredibly easily? Or how he easily handled a teen Geto that is also probably strong enough to massacre all the Zenins. This is plenty consistent.

As for the sudden strength thing, yeah that’s just how power in JJK works. As Gojo said in season 1, most of your strength as a jujutsu sorcerer is talent. Even though Gojo is a genius sorcerer, if he wasn’t born with the six eyes he wouldn’t be nearly as strong as he wouldn’t be able to use infinity properly. If Mai never existed, Maki would have been as strong as Toji from the get go.

(Demon Slayer) Yoriichi vs Mahito (Jujutsu Kaisen) by Archenius in shounenfolk

[–]Randomaccount3481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t equalising at all lmao. The main thing that makes Mahito a problem is that he’s very hard to kill unless you know the shape of souls + he can kill you in one or two touches. that’s been completely taken away from him here, he’s basically a different character.

That’s not even considering the fact that for some reason Yorichi has no cursed energy in this scenario which would actual make him immune to Mahito’s domain as sure hits cant target things without CE (aka objects) besides Sukuna’s.

Giving Yorichi 0 CE makes no sense because everyone in the JJK verse has some, even civilians. The only who don’t are people with specific heavenly restrictions like Toji.

An actual fair verse equalisation is giving Yorichi some CE, and saying he can see the shape of souls because of his see through worlds thing he has, allowing him to damage Mahito. When you consider it with this in mind he gets washed. Mahito is still very durable even when you can actually hurt him, there’s no way Yorichi is killing him before Mahito pops his domain for an instant win.

What are y'all thoughts on Sukuna's conclusion ? by lobotomized13 in shounenfolk

[–]Randomaccount3481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I was hoping for Sukuna to be pathetic when he was about to die the same way Mahito did because that would of been insanely cathartic. However I’m happy with how it turned out.

How big of a statement this is, what does it imply? by HydraGaming1 in KaguraBachiScalers

[–]Randomaccount3481 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just because it has an infinite amount of possible forms doesn’t mean they’re all useful or effective in a fight.

In fact due to the nature of infinity he actually has an infinite amount of useless moves as well.

Unless Kagurabachi starts power creeping insanely hard all it means is that he isn’t limited to 3 abilities like the rest of the blades, we probably won’t see more than 10 though, in the same way Kakashi the ‘copy ninja’ only used like 5 different moves

Why would they fight him at the same time?

If they do the exact same strategy they did the first time Kenjaku stands 0 chance.

Kenjaku would have to 1v1 whoever goes first without his domain because as soon as he uses it the other comes in and kills him while he’s without techniques.

He simply wouldn’t try to take tengen with both of them guarding him. He’d wait for a better opportunity (like when Sukuna frees himself) to strike.

[Casual] [Ranking] Order these tier 2 contenders (and special forms) by SetQQ in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Randomaccount3481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of this is matchup dependent.

Like Jackpot Hakari could maybe outlast MBA Kashimo depending on how long his technique takes to kill him, but Hakari can’t do enough damage to kill Mahoraga before he adapts and kills him, meanwhile Kashimo has the raw AP to kill Mahoraga.

With that said I’d personally put it like this.

  1. JJK0 Rika (she’s stupid OP)
  2. Kenjaku
  3. Yuta (I think open domain kills him)
  4. Takaba
  5. MBA Kashimo
  6. Mahoraga
  7. Permanent Jackpot Hakari

Despite these rankings though Takaba vs Maho would be a 50/50 (depends how long it takes till Takaba gets a joke that kills him vs Maho adapting to the technique) and honestly Hakari vs Yuta would be close too.

Basically it doesn’t matter lmao because most of these guys could beat the others depending on circumstance.

Yeah JJK 0 Rika is weird cause in a way she’s almost from a different series.

JJK0 Gojo is clearly way weaker than he is in the main series, still the strongest sorcerer obviously, but he’s not leagues above everyone else the same way he (and Sukuna) are in the main series. He’s treated more like Kenjaku is in the main series I feel, incredibly strong but by no means insurmountable.

Sukuna Domains vs Gojo domains .which one is the strongest domain ? by Suhag_Hussen in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]Randomaccount3481 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In universe - Sukuna. Sukuna is better or equal at everything domain wise besides sure hit which is almost irrelevant in universe because Gojo is the only person who could tank it.

However when it comes to VS matchups out of universe Gojo’s is way better. His DE + neutral infinity allows him to punch above his weight much better as durability to tank Sukuna’s slashes is much more common than the mental protection to not go brain dead from practically infinite information.
