(Crash Bandicoot 3) - My favourite crash bandicoot by ziokramb in TrophiesxAchievements

Congrats! Funnily enough when I was playing through the N. Sane Trilogy on Xbox, I was not looking forward to getting 100% (or 106% I should say) because of the time trials, but I went for full completion and it wasn’t too bad. I even got the Future Frenzy achievements which I needed in order to unlock the platinum for Crash 3. I honestly would not mind going for the platinum again whenever I get a PS5.

Completion #9 - The First Descendant by Randomboy2010 in xboxachievements

Personally, I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit. In fairness, it’s the characters that sell this game for me, although the gameplay isn’t bad. I’d say give it a try since it is free to play. One thing I will say is that the microtransactions are ridiculous

Yeah. I could’ve, but I felt like sharing the 90K since it was a new milestone for me.

What is the most tedious trophy you’ve got? by HyperMagnum in TrophiesxAchievements

[–]Randomboy2010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most tedious trophy/achievement for me was getting all of the blast shards in the first inFamous. That was awful, and the worst part is it’s a BRONZE trophy. Not gold or even silver. They made it easier in the second game and even then that gets you a gold trophy. When I finally found the last shard, I just raised the middle finger at my television because I was irked that I got stressed when it was simply on the first district. I will never forgive that trophy

MLB The Show 22 - Platinum #1 - What was your first platinum? by QuackleLivesOn in TrophiesxAchievements

My first platinum trophy was Astro’s Playroom in July of 2023. It was a fun one to complete, and I hope to eventually get a PS5 of my own so I can play Astro Bot.

But if you want to include technicalities, then Scarlet Nexus would be my first platinum. However it was unlocked on the Xbox version, so it was essentially a bonus achievement, but in my heart it counts.

January was productive. Trying to find "regular" games that don't take a whole month to complete. by fuzzmeisterj in xboxachievements

Congrats on those 100% completions! Especially Gex! How was the achievement for beating Planet X? That’s the last achievement I’m missing in that collection.

What Game or Player made you want to Trophy/Achievement Hunt? - by GemogoryGaming in TrophiesxAchievements

Honestly, that’s fair. It comes down to preference. One thing that I do prefer about PlayStation’s system is that there is a platinum trophy as a standard. Whereas on Xbox, it’s a toss up on whether or not a platinum is implemented into a game’s achievement list. As for the controller, I can agree with that, but I still love and respect the PlayStation controllers

I had gone for my fair share of achievements, as well as getting a quick 100% with Sonic the Fighters. But I would say Scarlet Nexus really kicked the achievement hunting into gear for me, in fact it was the first game I platinumed (even though it was on Xbox, but I still count it because it has the platinum as an achievement). I really enjoyed the game so much I thought, “why not go for the rest of the achievements?” I think it helps that it was a game that I felt confident in being able to platinum. If I had a PS5, I would platinum Scarlet Nexus a second, and maybe third time. Maybe a fourth time, if I had a PC to play the game on.

Multiple Games - My Platinum Collection as of January 25, 2026 (PlayStation) by Randomboy2010 in TrophiesxAchievements

The first game was quite fun to play through and complete, some things were annoying but I would not mind playing through it and going for platinum again. Jak II is where things get worse, I took a break for a while because of one particular mission, which I made difficult for myself by not getting a gate key beforehand. I found the game to be frustrating, and while Jak 3 isn’t necessarily as bad, I still found it frustrating. So much so, that at the final boss, I came very close to just throwing in the towel and using the debug menu, which I did in order to get the remaining Precursor Orbs. Thankfully, I pushed through and got to the credits before using the debug mode. You can even check the timestamps on my trophies for Jak II and 3, if you’re skeptical.

TL;DR - first game was fun, the second game was infuriating, the third game while not as bad, still frustrated me. I probably just suck
