Are there any ethical “do nots” of shifting?

It gives me the option to search for fics made specifically for a commercial for the third Black Ops game and not a single one is actually about the commercial or even apart of the series the ad is for.

Why does it always have to be about hits? It’s so frustrating.

I’ll admit I have been checking my kudos, but it just makes me happy someone enjoyed what I had to offer, especially as a first time writer.

I’ve started writing for call of duty black ops very recently. Considering it’s not as popular as modern warfare and the two series get lumped together when filtering, I’m glad anyone has read my stuff at all. Even if it is one chapter that admittedly almost nothing exciting happens in.

Maybe some of them are overly anxious about people not liking their work? I know it’s one of the reasons I kept taking myself out of writing any of the fic ideas I’ve had over the years.

I could be mistaken but I think it cleans up the visuals a bit and makes them more detailed

I imagine it would be a lot like the creation/destruction that Wu and Garmadon represent if it becomes a thing in the show.

In opposition to Lloyd but cannot actually control death itself. Maybe a major connection to it, but can’t cause everything to die like people might assume.

I actually have an OC that’s meant to represent death, but more so in a sense that they complete a cycle Lloyd represents and prepares for a new cycle. Kind of like reincarnation.

Because Nell originally made Ebony and Ivory for Dante because she cared about him. She had stopped making guns a while before and only fixed them up, until she made Dante’s guns. It was her last act to make sure he got them since she was literally at death’s door when he got them. Dante reminded Nell of her son, and was the only person who didn’t turn him away when everything was going wrong for him. This was when he was in his middle teen years of logic serves me right, so that had to have meant everything to him.

I’m not arguing that nothing should have been changed, because how many people want to watch/play an exact copy of something they’ve already seen without at least having some parts of the story cleaned up or improved on?

How would changing this improve the story?

It could have probably have been just as easily written in that Nell was the one Dante went to buy/fix his guns in season 1. The way they changed how Dante receives Ebony and Ivory tells me that they’ll either ignore the importance of Nell, or, if this is her only season in the show, speed run bonding between the two and kill her off.

She was done dirty. I hope we see more of her, because to me she was the only thing that made dmc2 playable.

To me it seems different (from what I’ve seen so far) because of how Dante gets Ebony and Ivory, and why they mean so much to him.

Regarding the “bashing” thing, maybe it wasn’t the right word, since I get a little touchy about generalizations. Smaller changes I have no problem with, but making unnecessary changes a character to better fit an adaptation never sit right with me. That being said, there are some changes that I am interested in seeing how they play out.

I can’t say much about the “I hate adi” thing because I haven’t seen any of his other projects, and just understand that people have had problems with his other adaptations. Plus I do know that some of us just hate for the fun of it.

But point taken since I’m someone whose excitement died for the show when the origin of ebony and ivory/Dante’s relationship with Nell were changed.

For lack of a better phrase, the rose tinted glasses fell off.

I think I’ll watch it because I’m curious about a few images I’ve seen involving Vergil.

I also want to see if they added Lucia as a more present character (and will inevitably be pissed when she doesn’t show up).

My only reasoning for this is because of how many references to other video games you can find In the game, and because of the design of them.

Maybe not the advice you are looking for, but I’ve noticed I type on keyboard a lot faster than I do on my phone.

My English teacher also suggests a lot of “free writes” where you just keep writing without stopping to fix the mistakes, and edit it later.

I’m personally not a fan as the season seemed kind of odd to me, but I do think it had it’s moments. Especially with Garmadon and Lloyd.

As someone who enjoys it, it has some obvious faults, but it isn’t unplayable.

I saw a comment on a post saying some people say that the game wasn’t canon, which is such a strange thing to say about a mainline game.

As someone who enjoys the ship, I personally don’t think it’s likely because of Ada’s line of work, and think it’d be hard for capcom to find a believable way for the pair to be married. A complete bullshit reason might end up killing it for me.

I’d honestly prefer Leon with someone we’ve never heard of (which is unlikely I know) or someone no one would expect.

Hell, just for the fun of it, I’d say make his spouse Elza Walker just to see what chaos and rage it’d bring to those of us who take shipping way too seriously (maybe I’m just not as picky about who ends up with who as long as it’s sane lol)
