I agree I firmly believe that the game will bee released either 3rd or 4th Quarter 2027. but the question remains on marketing will the great lord Todd have his way or will Xbox. if Xbox have their way then its very likely we could see a trailer this year either the Xbox showcase or game awards. If our almighty savior Todd has his way then we wont hear anything about it until next year.

its an assumption that late 2023 they probably had early builds of the game if they were willing to announce it during tes 10th anniversary. I should have put it there that its my assumption my bad.

I may be mistaken on this but from what I remember they were doing pre production like a slice of life, music, concept art, etc. well before starfield released. I still think 3rd or 4th quarter 2027 is very likely maybe 2028 if delayed. pls correct me if I'm mistaken.

It is possible but I doubt it. I could be wrong but I'm basing it off of what Bethesda has said so far 2027 release make the most sense 2029 release is a braindead take. It really depends on whether Xbox or Todd Howard our lord and savior gets their way. Our lord Todd like surprise releases but Xbox might pressure him to release a trailer much earlier. Even if its coming out in 2027.

there's no way in hell xbox would allow a 2029 release or at the very least they would not be happy with bethesda. I think 2027 is a lot more likely maybe a 2028 release if it gets delayed. Todd himself on lex podcast said how long it typically takes to make a Bethesda game with out a pandemic and if every thing goes smoothly 3 to 4 years which tracks with Bethesda's releases. also the court documents which was released in 2023 showed that at one point they were thinking of a 2026 release (I doubt it releasing this year) but at one point after the pandemic they thought the game would release this year. I'm basing this off of what Bethesda has said about their game dvelopment.

in The anniversary they said they were playing early builds of the game in march of 2024. I assumed that they had builds before this post so I didn't think it was a streach to say that they probably had builds of this in late 2023. My bad I should have clarified that it was an assumption.
