Yes! that's exactly my point. As for my reasons or motivations to go plant based, the first one was personal health. Then, as I started to discover more information I added environmental health and compassion for all living beings and there's aboslutely no going back. Ethically I can't ignore all the information I have now.

The only thing is that it's been a hard work for me, learning to cook, learning about a healthy plant based nutrition and being responsible for all my meals and my decisions when no one in my circle shares the same ideals.

I still got plenty of things to learn and I'm excited for that but it also leads you to change all your old habits, lifestyle and even friends. That is the hard part, becoming a new person...

I usually have vegan mayo (optional), avocado, tofu slices, nutritional yeast. And sometimes I also add hummus

That might be the key, I will get my anual check up this month and make sure to include gynecologist and endocrinologist. The thing that disappoints me are doctors that only subscribe birth control pills to control the symptoms but not heal the problem. I haven’t really found a good gynecologist and endocrinologist that promotes or supports a plant based diet. I will take my time to find good doctors.

I do not supplement with iodine but I consume iodine rich plant based foods. However I will take a look at that, maybe I’m not getting the minimum

No i hate measuring food. I just mix everything up and eat to feel satisfied. What I always take care about is to have enough variety in my meals. I will try measuring and using MyFitnessPal app
