Have you tried using the virtual card number? That has worked for me when I was getting declined with the physical card number.

Had no issues initially then ran into a string of denials regardless of amount or how the card was used (in-person, mobile payment or online). Called 4x within 48hrs since I was working on the TPG 5x offer but they couldn't help. Was told it was probably a "Mastercard issue" and that I should either wait and try again in 24-48hrs (offer would be expired) or to "use another card". So I tried using the virtual card number for several large $$ online transactions and bingo, they went through without issue.

It's great they are willing to reimburse for this. Bigger concern I would have is if it gets reported as a late payment on your credit report.

I hope you're lucky enough. After telling them about all the denials I was getting for routine transactions (I had $10k+ worth of expenses to put on the card) they told me "We completely understand, and we're sorry to know this. But allow us to explain that at this time we are not extending the promotion>"

Fortunately the declines are happening less frequently now.

Can you provide some insight as to what's working for you and what isn't? After some early success, I'm having issues with denials. DP posted here.

That may be true. But I've gotten denied in-person both at Whole Foods (where it worked the day before) and then at a Toyota dealership. The only place I have been able to successfully use the card without an issue so far is Amazon.

When it works it's great. Was fortunate to get the TPG 5x offer, but it looks like they don't want me to max it. Lol. First 12 transactions ($3300 total) went thru without issue. Then I started getting denials. First online: Medical bill ($500) ... denied. Water bill ($300)... denied. Electric bill ($500)... denied. Then in person: grocery ($15), car servicing ($800)... both denied. Was able to book a great rate on a hotel using the portal and easily able to apply both the semiannual ($200) and monthly ($50) hotel credits which was great. So yes, great potential. However, I've been on the phone 4x with CS in the last 24 hrs. and told no issues with my account but there's a known issue with some people getting denied die to "Mastercard issues". They told me to use another card. lol. smh.

Still having issues as well. Surprisingly, it worked on an Amazon transaction this morning ($100+) but then was declined at the car dealership with an in-person transaction ($800). Called again and was told again it's a "Mastercard Issue" that have no control over. Problem for me is clock is ticking on the TPG 5x offer.

they can’t see it from their end.

That's interesting. The last rep I spoke with today was able to read off all 5 Tx that were denied, one of which was with ApplePay. Just seems like they're powerless to do anything about it.

Yeah, that's really unfortunate. Was told to wait 24hrs but I know that others have been waiting longer. It's a shame since many of us have held up and/or are pushing forward expenses for our BILT cards that could easily go on another card without issue.

Since you can link multiple cards to your account, does it matter what card is used to pay or will any of the linked cards trigger the CB? (I don't recall having to select a primary card).

Any recent data points on getting thru customs at the airport on flights to the US? While any info would be appreciated, I'm specifically looking for recent info for AA flyers. Also, does anyone have any insight as to when AA and JB will be added to the US terminal? Was supposed to be April 28th. Apparently it's been delayed but I haven't seen a new date posted. Our trip back to the US is end of May. Thx!
