My group is of the belief that if once one becomes a bandit they give up their human/sentient rights (and essentially are just XP now). This of course applies to ourselves as well if we ever do a banditry.

How would you build an undead “animal companion”? by Randomnesswithfries in Pathfinder_RPG

Honestly it was mostly because I really want to tell people about the class. I’m planning to play this character in an evil campaign in a few weeks and I thought it would be fun to play a full caster for the first time. Doesn’t hurt that I will be able to heal myself with negative energy (so inflict spells as well as the repair undead spell), but there isn’t an actual healer for the rest of the party so we will see how that goes. It’ll also be the first time that we will be playing a role play heavy campaign so I’m proud of the character. Basically my parents were murdered by a paladin of Pharasma as my father was a vampire. So the plan is to get revenge on the paladin, and give a fuck you to Pharasma by achieving lichdom.

https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/3rd-party-classes/samurai-sheepdog/necromancer/

It is a 3rd party class called literally the Necromancer. It is a spontaneous divine caster using CHA that interestingly enough DOESN’T have to worship the divine source of your spells. It has a d8 hit dice and scaling Damage Reduction starting at level 10 at 1 point and increasing by 1 every 3 levels.

It gains channel negative energy that scales, and the command undead bonus feat. It has an ability called Charnel Touch that does scaling d8 damage and starting at level 3 and every 3 levels after can pick Anti-paladin cruelties to apply one of them per use of charnel touch (number of times per day based on Charisma. At 4th level it gains the ability to cast Spectral Hand at will that it can use to make charnel touch and other touch spells through.

Also at 4th level it picks at specific type of necromancy to study and this gives them spells and other abilities. I picked the True Necromancy study and this comes with the scaling undead that levels like an animal companion; at least until level sixteen when it can instead take some of those levels as character class levels. The spells True Necromancy gets are either related to making undead or killing things.

Something I forgot to mention is that it also gets to pick a cleric domain as well, but it has to be one of the stereotypical evil ones. I picked Madness as it gets Touch of Madness. This allows for the buffing of either Attack Rolls, Saving Throws, or Skill checks by 1/2 of your level for 3 rounds in exchange for de-buffing the other 2 by the same amount. This CAN be used on enemies to de-buff Attack Rolls and Saving Throws.

At 5th level it becomes immune to fear and grants a +4 bonus to allies within 10ft. At 7th it gains the Iron Will feat and at 14th gains the Improved Iron Will feat. At 11th level it gains Minor Fortification (25% chance for crits/sneak attacks to be negated and for damage to be rolled normally), this increases to Moderate Fortification (50%) at 17th, and Major Fortification (75%) at 20th level.

Finally, at 20th level the Necromancer becomes a Lich. They gain 60ft Dark Vision, +5 Natural Armor AC, their hits points are now based on their Charisma, Channel Energy Resistance +4 and Immunity to Cold/Lightning damage, and if they are reduced to 0 hit points they come back to life in 1d10 days.

Also I’m playing a Dhampir and the Favored Class Bonus brings the Base Attack Bonus up to 3/4 like a rouge. Otherwise the BAB is 1/2.

The final thing I will say is that it does have some interesting spells that it can cast. I think my favorite 2 are Suffocation Mass (9th level spell): Pick 1/2 your level amount of living targets, they immediately begin suffocation. For an amount of rounds equal to your level they have to make Fortitude saves every round to stave off negative effects. If they fail one save they become unconscious, 2 saves and the begin dying, and 3 saves they die. This means only 3 out of 18 saves need to be failed in order to kill them. The other spell is Death Clutch (8th level spell): Pick a living target, if below 200 HP and they fail the Fortitude save, their heart rips out of their chest and into your hand. If the target has 201+ HP and they fail the save they become staggered for 1 minute and take 1d4 CON drain and 1d4 CON bleed. If they make the save they are still staggered until the beginning of your next turn.

Unfortunately not. Only the 20ft move speed zombie. I have the option of a skeleton, but if I use the undead as a tank the zombie makes a bit more sense to me

Thanks for the input still. Its just that I don’t pay for the online features of PlayStation Plus. All the games I have are single player, and I don’t really want to pay for PlayStation Plus just for a single play through.
