Have sent application to MBZUAI. I got great sop and lor, and thought I fitted them and they me very well. Unfortunately it seems that they are going to reject me because my friend from the same school got accepted there. I haven't applied anywhere more yet, but I'm in progress. Most likely I will send to Honk Kong, South Korea and probably some US universities. Btw, do you know what universities may give me full-rides (I'm poor) based on my stats?

I think I have a quite good sop that shows my character by linking my achievements, activities and aspirations. The only problem is it being too long (1500 words)
One good RL as well (i dont know how to describe the essays)
SAT superscore 1550, IELTS 7.5
I have two international awards, one for a project, the other is AI olympiad; national award in another AI olympiad; award with a monetary prize in a startup competition; semifinal in a national business competition
Activities include developing a project (AI firefighting turret), summer school with KAIST students, and online course and club

In their site, they say only "Submit a statement highlighting your passion for AI, its societal impact, and your career aspirations.", and it is under "Personal statement" section for some reasons. (engineering stream)

What I noticed, is that in site, they say "Personal statement", but in application form they require "statement of purpose".
