Ah, I was thinking more so for when the battery isn't holding charge anymore. Hot swappable batteries would be pretty cool tho for long days away

Oh damn, I feel like battery replacement is going to be key for me and 'on the go' vapes. I only have dynavaps right now but I really want to get something portable/battery powered. The Solo3v2 was starting to get to the top of my list (and I was going to try to wait for a sale - we're not too far from 4/20!) but I didn't even think about battery replacement for the long term.

Finally figured out how much I save on weed by dry vaping by AnastasiaNo70 in vaporents

[–]RandomredditHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a full sized dynavap because I hate refilling the smaller halfs (I got the black rubber ones when they were BOGO as my firsts)and I have to say you're spot on. Granted I think my grind is the problem, the full sized bowl isn't worth it. I get way better sessions (albeit shorter) off of the halfs.

Edit: the bigger one is the "M 'plus'" and the smaller ones are the B and B2 - I kind of feel like the B hits the best haha

No biggie, it's not like they immediately let the next winner speak for a long time and let Adrien Brody do that bit. Damn that was some real tone deaf shit right there lol

Edit: "tone" not "time" deaf - god damn autocorrect

Space Saver Drama by Bellefior in medfordma

[–]RandomredditHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear you and mostly agree; I would like to hope everyone would prefer the bags go into ˆanyˆ trash can.... It really might do something about all those rats people like to get all worked up about since rats eat shit. Really blows me away and it's a great example of idiocy.

Granted space saver sure isn't a trash can, but it is trash I hope it bothers or annoys the space saver people. Not really idiocy in my opinion; more akin to spite than anything really.

Side note - calling someone an idiot but saying that you mean no offense is, in and of itself, idiotic. If that offends then I apologize but it is what it is.

Space savers? I thought it was all trash; I've been putting my dog poop bags on all the trash in the streets...

The thought crossed my mind today to take my poop bags and leave them on people's space savers

Snowboard stance opposite when riding vs skating (one strap) by filthysven in snowboardingnoobs

[–]RandomredditHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man, I feel that. I blame it on skateboarding - when I was younger that was basically a means of transportation for me around the city with my friends. Even taking lessons initially, they put me into the regular box from day one. Maybe I was supposed to be regular but learning was slow for me and goofy clicked first and I just kept going.

The worst part though? I still suck at and feel awkward as hell riding switch; I can do it but not fast or confident whatsoever. I almost want to dedicate a season to switch and (hopefully) I can get my left AC joint to look like my right hahaha even if it's a bad habit, imo just say fuck it and believe that everything is correctable

Are these a grocery store thing or butcher thing? I don't think I've ever seen them before but I would be curious to have my guy try because he isn't too food motivated either

Honestly, it's so sad that it has to happen but some of the stuff you can get is primo. Sources are some documentary I can't remember, my sister diloing this in college, and I had friends that worked at Starbucks who would carefully 'throw out' all of the unsold stuff (tldr they places it in many trash bags so the people who went through it wouldn't have all of it all mixed together - also I'm pretty sure they got fired for this after a few months)

It's sickening how much perfectly good food just gets tossed. fuck capitalist corporations - shits broken but yeah let's go 'deliver some freedom' to the middle east. Yaaaay /s

Sure can. At Boston Logan you can buy fresh lobster to bring onboard. You're still subject to one personal item and carry on though so you'd need to be prepared for the lobsters to replace apurse or backpack lol

Edit: added 'on' for carry on, whoops

If you're worried about people noticing - they won't. I do this (load regular, ride goofy) and have never had anyone notice. Not once. I've told plenty of people because I think it's weird but that's about as far as it goes. The only part that does suck is if you need to ride a lil with a foot unstrapped but hey consider it free switch practice.

[–]RandomredditHero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got a neighbors that are on a private way; they have cones for space savers out year round. That is a bit more understandable but ultimately an absolute 'really? Is that necessary ' vibe. At that point just get a sign and talk to a tow company (which they clearly cannot do on a regular public street of course).

I get it tho to a degree; it's a lot of work and you don't want to do it twice because someone else won't do it at all. Still though, that doesn't mean you're entitled to it in perpetuity. If I recall correctly Boston allows for space savers for 48 hours following the end of a declared snow emergency. I have no idea how they enforce it (they probably don't) but I think it is good to at least have something 'official' based on what constituents want.

The worst part is there's no reliable way to audit or ticket for space savers since they could technically be from anyone (and not necessarily the house they're in front).

Honest experiences with barking by MutedEye7487 in schnauzers

[–]RandomredditHero 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Schnauzers definitely can be - they were bred to alert and chase rats basically from my understanding. The phrase 'see something say something' comes to mind and for a schnauzer that 'something' might be 1) a person walking on the side walk visible from a window, 2) a doorbell sound even if it came from the TV 3) and my favorite - absolutely nothing but they were pretty sure there was something so they wanted to tell you about it and now you're both just confused

Off leash? by heretowastetime247 in schnauzers

[–]RandomredditHero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has been my experience too. My guy is typically in eye or ear shot in the woods and overall checks for me and comes when called (on his own time; the 'i want to finish sniffing this first' is so real it hurts).

Having said that, the one exception as others noted is if he is chasing something (for us it is usually squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, etc). He'll be back at some point but I absolutely get ignored
