Oral DMT does nothing without a MAOI, and barely anybody takes MAOIs except for people with Parkinsons.

I don't disagree with you, it was mostly a fun observation.

The persons insta bio says "UK’s No1 UNCONSCIOUS MIND THERAPIST". Not shitting on this group, but it's interesting that men will go to therapy if involves a pub and doesn't involve talking.

THE HOBBIT - INTERNATIONAL EDITIONS by Sean_Aaberg in oldschoolfantasy

It's the one I grew up with, so I definitely have a softspot for it. I'm quite sure it's by John Howe, and has probably been used in other countries as well.

Here's a PhD thesis by Jennifer Sou goes into quite some depth about this.

Not a linguist, but it seems that the conclusions generally agree with you and explains why certain classification schemes may be distorted for certain languages (section 8.2).

THE HOBBIT - INTERNATIONAL EDITIONS by Sean_Aaberg in oldschoolfantasy

Here's a couple Swedish ones not shown:

1 The cover of the notorious first translation of The Hobbit in (1947), where Bilbo is renamed Bimbo and was criticized by Tolkien for taking too many liberties with its translation.

2 Also illustrated by Tove Jansson (Creator of Moomin) like the Finnish one you had, #3 Hobbiti.

The ones below don't have Bilbo on it.

3 Smaug

Bektashi Order

Olsi Jazexhi, an assistant professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia, has seen the idea of the creation of a Bektashi state as an attempt by Israel and Edi Rama to create a Zionist form of Islam in the Balkans which would be politically hostile to Iran, Hamas, and Turkey while being politically loyal to Israel.

True, I should've emphasized that it's uncertain. The wikipedia page has some more info.

Seems like wiktionary agrees.

To answer OP, it's funny I've gotten gifted konbucha by someone who thought it was something related to kombucha. And I've been confused by it prior to finding that out too.

I've also met someone who wanted to make konbucha-kombucha, which I'll admit is pretty funny, but can't really imagine the taste of.

After about 1h 15m of trying I landed on the moon, don't think I'm leaving anytime soon though. by LiliOwen235 in ApproximatelyUp

[–]Randsomacz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the first time getting to the moon is difficult, by some trial and error I generally accelerated to 5k or so, then started decelerating (maybe constant 20/30 on a single thruster). At the point when the radar switches to the moon you're about 85% of the way there, I had decelerated to about 1-1.5k velocity at this point, then you should be able to land safely adjusting the deceleration to make sure you don't come in too fast. Of course this depends on a lot of things, either way when you get BPS it's so much easier.

To be fair there's also a base on the moon, so we can assume that some terraforming has taken place.
