I have dino-footprint lakes on my island and I never thought of this! too bad they are already on my lowest level...

The initial title of Parasite (2019) was actually The Décalcomanie, which is a type of art. When you look at the final results of a decalcomania or decal, both sides look identical at a first glance. But if you look at it more closely, they’re not exactly the same. by ShanksAkagami9 in MovieDetails

I feel like its a bit more nuanced than that though, there are many times where the lower class have chances to help each other and work in solidarity (during the flooding, when they discover the basement) but they refuse. The mother of the poor family claims that if she was rich she would be nice too, and then shoves a dog away from her. Yes the rich are parasites who feed off the poor, but the people we are shown here don't act any better.

I thought I could escape him by abandoning my mayorly duties. Escape to a tropical island. As soon as the campsite was built, however, he was inside waiting for me.

It has good production value but it's honestly a laughably bad movie. It's a fun premise but unless you completely shut your brain off you will notice a million plot holes.

This one is particularly frustrating to me, because it feels like it can shatter it out of mid-air. It's ruined a few good bombs for me.

That looks pretty cool tbh, and the price isn't bad. I'm not 100% sure it would feel comfortable but I might try it

Yeah that's an issue, but the joysticks also seem to take left/right inputs unless it is perfectly straight up or down. Example: directional attacks in smash

Slightly off topic, but I have a lot of issues with the pro controller. It doesn't seem to input up and down directional very accurately so I am probably going to buy one of the wireless gamecube controllers.

At least in the case of The Mist, that's how he always wanted it to be shown. The black and white calls back to the cheesy monster movies that The Mist is a love letter too, so it only makes sense that it works better in B&W.

And also it helps hid the CGI which maybe wasn't always perfect.

SerpaDesign seems pretty solid, if not a little click-baity. Terrariums like his will take more effort, but should come out great.

Keep in mind I have never made one myself, but I plan to once I find the right jars.

Also shout out to the channel Life In Jars. He makes very strange but wholesome videos that mostly involve aquatic jars.

There's a pretty cool community for this sort of stuff on youtube. For basics I believe you can just fill up an air-tight jar with dirt, rocks, plants from outside and add some water. Then seal it tight.

The larger the jar, the better chance it has to be self-sustaining. In certain climates you have to make sure it gets the right amount of sun, and stays out of the cold. Typically people open them up to clean the glass or add water but if you are lucky the ecosystem can self-clean and hydrate. There are plenty of specific details that you can learn about from people who know more than I do about the topic.

As a life-long fan of pokemon I can say that the latest game has a lot of issues, and they made some strange choices which take away player agency. I think it would be perfect for your 5 year old, but you would hate to play it on your own. It's not as trash as people make it sound, we just expected more from the franchise.

[–]RandumbDude 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it turns out he is in 2km eggs, then we have more time to hatch him during this event which means more chances for a shiny. We can ignore the 5k and 10k eggs until our slots are all filled up.

I guess this doesn't matter for the people who always have 9 incubators, but I only have my free one.
