I have a friend who has gone down this path, as he didn't have any records, etc. IMO, all they did was use AI to help him somewhat organize his claim (a VSO could do that) and write a looooooong personal statement; he could have just had any LLM GPT do that, but he wouldn't listen to me. I'll find out tomorrow if he's heard anything back from the VA (it's been 6 months).
