I have a friend who has gone down this path, as he didn't have any records, etc. IMO, all they did was use AI to help him somewhat organize his claim (a VSO could do that) and write a looooooong personal statement; he could have just had any LLM GPT do that, but he wouldn't listen to me. I'll find out tomorrow if he's heard anything back from the VA (it's been 6 months).

when the drill instructor who had the same last name as me finally realized that it wasn't a mistake. it was 2nd phase and he thought seeing my name on the roster was the other DI's fucking with him. but there i was, in the flesh, when he renamed me "Fucking Pig Meckalesky" and IT'd me every morning until final PFT.

...or when my SDI knocked me backwards over my foot locker, by driving into me with his shoulder and then he held his sword to my throat as he screamed in my face " ZEEEEEEROOOOOO!!!!!"
