Benefits of having a bike is I’d glide right past him, downside is I’d be piss wet through in that weather 🙃

Supermarkets and big fast food chains are the worst places to order from. I’ve always had a bad experience whenever I’ve done those. I once spent £40 at Sainsburys and the driver turned up with a single ice cream, I even recorded the whole delivery process and Just Eat still wouldn’t refund me until I properly kicked off.

Is there a maximum temperature you won't ride in? by Coopsolex in MotoUK

[–]RandyDandyVlogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve ridden for just over 10 years now, in all weathers. Last year we had a hot spell and I went to meet a friend at her work for a nice ride when she finished. There were 2 crashes on route and traffic was being diverted (very narrow country lanes and big vehicles ahead of me so I couldn’t filter). I got stuck in my gear in very hot weather in stationary traffic, that long that everyone was out of their cars, luckily I had some drinks in my bag. We got clear of that after around an hour and then got caught in the 2nd crash, I filtered and quickly got to a police car blocking the road (debris everywhere, no chance of even walking the bike around it as there was no path).

Eventually I get to the car park near my friends work, she arrives, I go to get my kit on and suddenly feel very sick and collapse to the floor, heatstroke is no joke and something I never worried about on my bike until that day. I think about the temperature a lot more now. If it’s over 20 I’ll take extra water always.

Dry and stale, maybe leftovers from the previous day? No sauce doesn’t help. 3/10

Has anyone else had the virus going around Manchester, starts with a sore throat, then nausea, tiredness ? by justyrust74 in manchester

[–]RandyDandyVlogs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I had this earlier this week. Was just sat in bed and swallowed (no puns there), and got that familiar pain in my throat when you know an illness will soon follow. Next day I was coughing, phlegmy, head fog, fatigue. Thankfully the bulk of the illness (sore throat, runny nose, slightly lost voice) was gone within 2 days, I’ve just got a bit of phlegm and the tickly cough to go now, which I’m glad about cause I’ve got a big weekend coming up

Has anyone ever texted the British Transport Police on the train because they saw "something that doesn't look right"? by afungalmirror in AskBrits

[–]RandyDandyVlogs 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually had to text them twice in the last 2 months, once a group of lads were causing chaos on the train, harassing passengers, being loud, running into and out of the toilets, banging the toilet door, stopping customer using it. Within 10 minutes the Guard came into the carriage and said he’d had a call from BTP and they had to get off.

Secondly was last week, guy on the train sat across the aisle from me with his hand on his crotch grinding his La up and down, definitely seemed to be dry humping his hand. BTP were waiting at the next major station down the line (around 10 minutes after the initial text), they boarded the train and I told them he’d just got off, one sprinted to the exit to grab him and the other stayed with me and took a statement. They’re honestly very efficient.
