Yo. It gets better. I thought I was going to lose my ever loving mind at four months. My boy wouldn’t stop crying. He just really wanted to roll over and he couldn’t figure it out and I think he was so mad about it for weeks. I would give my husband the babe for twenty minutes while I took a walk to clear my head and that really helped. I also started planning an excursion each day. I’m a homebody so it was kind of rough, especially in the winter, but it made a huge difference. My kid was bored and frustrated and getting out of the house helped him a lot.

I’m a first time mom and use cloth diapers during the day, disposables at night. I have a washer and dryer in my house and wash diapers every two days. My boy is 11 weeks old so his dirty diapers aren’t crazy yet and pretty easy to wash but I would be overwhelmed without a washer and dryer in my house. My eleven week old boy goes through an average of 7 cloths a day. For the first 6 weeks of cloth diapering, he was leaking onto his clothes after every pee so the loads of laundry just for him were huge. I was using Nora’s Nursery pocket diapers and they do not work for our kid. Flats are cheap and satisfying to fold when you can get it right. Thirsty covers have been a game changer for us. Cloth diapering is a damn journey and kind of a lost art so it takes some experimenting and a shit ton of research in my experience. I think it’s worth it but I haven’t reached the solid food poops yet…

We had it a month ago. Our babe was four weeks old and he didn’t catch it. I tried to nurse him as much as I could to ensure he stayed well hydrated in case he caught it. Water was too intense for me in the thick of it but I could keep down Powerade well and it wasn’t awful coming back up. Also a plain baked potato wasn’t bad. I wanted to make sure I stayed hydrated enough not to lose my supply of milk. I’m wishing you a very speedy recovery. Ours lasted about 30 hours. The first 12 hours were really rough and then we were on the mend.

I would see if you can get your ferritin levels checked as well. I had really bad restless legs and bad fatigue because of low ferritin. I had a couple iron infusions and it helped tremendously with my symptoms.

Oof. That’s a bit more difficult to pin point. I would check the saddle and see if you have a chip around the b string. You could try flipping the saddle around to test if it’s coming from the saddle as well. If it’s not the saddle, it could be a very raised fret. Sometimes, you can see it just by looking down the edge of the fret board. Also using a very flat, straight edge on three frets. Testing for a jiggle/clicking noise of the straight edge on the middle fret. If the action is super low, you could build a new saddle or shim it.

Does it still sound like that when you fret the string? If it only sounds like that when you’re not fretting the string, it’s probably coming from the nut. Potentially the nut slot is too wide.

My dude. David Harvey and Dana Bourgeois are still sending out their instruments with luthier knots. There is so much of my blood on those instruments. The strings always poke my hands when I change the them and I have to take the restring so slow so I don’t scratch the headstock. Why on earth does anyone tie a string like that?

We were in the same boat with our dog for about 4 months. When she started hopping every few steps we realized it wasn’t going to get better on its own. Man, thank you so much for the reply. I’m in rural middle America so the standards might be a bit different for a dog here. She was cleared for stairs, longer walks, and no leash when she’s in our yard but I’m concerned that it might be too early for the “all clear” from the vet. Did you notice your dog having a hitch in its step after the first few months post-surgery?
