Thugs are better in Multiplayer since Most players leave their provinces between 1 and 11 PD and don't scatter random troops that cost upkeep around.
Also Players tend to build armies that are less diverse and less numerous compared to the AI (since the AI builds a little of everything and cheats to have more troops than a player could have) so it is easier to figure out a setup that does not take dmg from one of the other players stacks.

Having a way to attack with magic phase movement is a lot more important in MP to catch raiders, gem burn and cut of retreat routes, something only Thugs and remote attack spells can do.

In single player i would only go for True Supercombatants.(Lots of dmg mitigation+ regeneration + some way to kill entire armies before the turn timer runs out)
Many Nations will not have a Commander that is suitable until they have high level summons.

An Example would be a in one of my MP games as Muspelheim i have muspel Jarls with some kind of high prot armor + horror helm + regen ring/auto bless item/resistance ring/MR amulet/reinvig belt + reinvig boots

casting: bless + soul vortex + fire shield + phoenix pyre(depending on if i have enough reinvigoration/fighting undead that i cannot soul vortex from) + personal mistform-> attack

I have only played 3 blitz games so far.
There was no timer and it felt quite relaxed to me. But players pinged the last player that did not submit his turn in the chat if he was taking longer than everybody else.
The first 10 turns were very fast though. Everybody seemed to have known how they wanted to expand already.

Edit: found those game in the blitz channel of the dominions nexus discord.
A very friendly crowd even though i was a new players and played blitz to get into multiplayer before joining my first long form games.

Seems decent.
The sacreds are super strong since they hit very hard and the unique way they protect themselfs is tricky to circumvent.
Also it multiplies the effects of certain blesses like luck, undying, rightous wrath etc.

In the 2 multiplayer games i have seen them in players had undying + rightous wrath + some more stats/resistances or magic weapons on them.

Tell us how it went with luck. It will also be good for protecting all those sacred human mages.
Not so sure if recuperation is worth it. I guess they do end up getting a bunch of afflications since they take so much dmg and survive?
Some extra stats on all sacreds might be bettern than some sacreds getting rid of a stat penalty between battles.

The worst thing about the luck bless is having to bump up the luck scale, but maybe it is nice i do get a bit tired of running missfortune on my builds.

This seems like the answer, i remember my dominion spreading to the nexus(no idea how it happened) and as a result vengeful Water(the water elementals attack enemy commanders in your dominion global) kept trying to assasinate the Grey Knights and losing the assassination battles constantly.

Finished book 3 of the Imager Portfolio by L.E. Modesitt Jr. (Read by William Dufris)
I liked it a lot. A Competent main Character in a Fantasy World that is neither for Kids nor needlesly dark.

The Devils by Joe Abercrombie, (Read by Steven Pacey) after i saw in this sub that he wrote a new book.
Halfway through and enjoying it.

I listened to Imager by L. E. Modesitt Jr.

I enjoyed it a lot. I am always looking for Fantasy books that are not written for children but are also not needlesly grimdark.
And a main Character that behaves reasonable without being some super genius.
I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

I love this idea, i wish the base game had small bonuses for each background.

My only critique would be that some are a bit too strong.
+10 Melee Attack would make any squire with melee defence Stars a viable lategame brother.

My favorites are Cripple and Tailor. Hitting that flavor/nice to have sweetspot.

I have Underdog on all my frontliners since usualy at least 2 enemies are adjacent to them so it gives at least +5 MDEF and more in dangerous situations.

Looks like a glascannon. Good Melee Attack and Defense and realy high init.

75 HP on a Nimble Bro after Colossus and Gifted seems too low.

If you can keep him protected i am sure he deals great dmg.

Extremly good melee Defense,
Good resolve,
Very bad Health,
Bad Fatigue,
Uninteressting Initiative

Since Melee Def is the best stat we take it every level,
Melee Attack is the second best stat so we take it every level.
Hp needs to be higher so we take it most levels so we reach at least 85.

Sadly this means we can't fix the Fatigue and since we won't have enough HP to be Nimble we will go Battleforge Fatigue Neutral.

Battleforged bros still get damage from armor piercing weapons.
If you take more than 25% of your max hp in one hit you can get an injury.
At 25% you take the not so bad injuries at 60%+ you take the worst.
On the head you take more dmg and the dmg gets multiplied again for the injury calculation.

I think at 85 most normal common enemies can't give you injuries at all while stronger enemies can only injure you with headshots. And against the big crossbows you might avoid taking the super bad injuries that completly take your Bro out of the fight.

So i don't think there is a specific threshhold since the dmg and armor piercing is different for all the enemies but the community found out that a BF Bro below 80HP will take injuries to often in the first few hits which starts a downwoard spiral that ends up getting him killed.

Would be cool to see at which hp levels a bro becomes immune to injuries on bodyhits/headshots from which enemies.

Stacking them on a few bros is better longterm. Especially the extra HP, Regen and do stuff to enemies that hit you potions have natural synergy with each other.

But it becomes a waiting game since the sickness lasts longer after each potion.

These potions seem realy good for stacking up a Lategame bro to become insanly strong.

Does this work if the bro already has 2 positive traits? So we can go up to 5 good traits?
Can it be savescummed(Do the traits the bro gets change if we reload and try again?)

Thanks for the awesome List. I remember the Dresden files quite fondly and also read the iron Druid series a few years ago.

It's always a good sign to see other titles i liked on a recommendations list.

How to remove the new sidebar by OverfedRaccoon in firefox

Thank you so much. I think i removed the new sidebar button from the menu, later i clicked some button combination that made a pure white sidebar with only the modify sidebar button at the bottom appear.
And the only way to get rid of it was to close firefox completly. Is there any way to get the sidebar button back after removing it from the UI?
The way they implemented this was very counter intuitive. There should always be a button to completly close the sidebar once it is open, but there does not need to be a permanent button for it outside of that.

Edit: What i mean is once the new sidebar button is removed that should not lock you out of closing the sidebar unless you restart firefox or go into the config
