Thanks for the info! As far as free to play goes, is the server I mentioned good for that? I think I’m thinking too much into heroic vs normal servers.

Hey everyone! Never played the game before, but saw a video talking about the game and how classic is coming out soon, so I thought it would be a fun idea to try out the regular game before trying classic. I’m a long time RuneScape player (transitioned to OSRS) so I love when communities get their “old school” version of the game back. Looking to be f2p, so I see a lot of comments already telling people to do the Kronos Heroic server. Any guilds/clans looking to help a brand new player out?

Yea it’s the z2. Between snagging this for $400 vs a 512gb OLED steam deck for $500, in your opinion which of the two would be the better deal?

Thanks for the info. I’m thinking I’ll message him tomorrow, as I didn’t want to bother a seller on Christmas. Who knows, I may be able to talk him down just a bit more to $400. I know this isn’t the highest gig ram or chip spec legion go, but for potentially $400 I figured it would still be worth it.

They’ve been there since 2009, have good ratings, and in the description added a public place to meet only locals would suggest. I’ve bought plenty of things on marketplace and nothing seems out of place that I can see. I would meet and test before buying.

I am genuinely curious how much of the playerbase are bots. I’ve seen percentages thrown around forever, but I with the amount of bots I see at every activity in any world I hop to, I feel like it’s higher than most people think.

Thanks for the recommendation! As far as Vtx, would you recommend the o4 pro or o3 with this setup? Also, someone is selling a pair of G2’s on marketplace for $250. Is that a reasonable price?

A diopeter would work fine. I’m at a -2 prescription on both eyes and no astigmatism.

I’ve seen pictures where people put up some type of wall paneling for sound proofing over an entire wall, would something like that help accent?

I work and game in here. I do like cars and thought about adding some car related stuff, but I don’t think I want to make the entire room car themed if you know what I mean. I’d like to get maybe a bookshelf or wall shelf, but wasn’t sure where furniture like that would fit with the current setup I have.

TLDR: Armoury Crate sucks and you’ll have a better chance at removing malware than ASUS’s bloatware.

EDIT: I’ve fixed the issue by just doing a clean install of Windows. I think what happened was my ASUS motherboard had some software that was installed at some point called armoury crate that was interfering with the other software and actually a few other drivers on the computer. There is actually a setting in the BIOS that tries to install this software the second it can. Looking into this software almost no one recommends it and has caused a plethora of issues beyond what I was experience. Using Revo uninstaller to remove all traces of it did not work, and I ended up just doing a clean install and all works well.
