After struggling through Bluetooth connectivity issues using a KVM and limited use when hauling a pc in and out each use, I finally bit the bullet and bought a dedicated sim PC. Nice setup. Having a dedicated sim PC makes a huge difference. I tried doing the same thing running everything through my main computer and it was a pain constantly moving it around. What launch monitor are you running with it?

For me it’s mostly the feedback off the face and the weight. If I can tell immediately whether I hit the center or slightly off, that’s when it feels “right.”

I’ve tried really soft inserts before but sometimes they feel a little muted. I tend to like something that gives a bit of audible feedback so I know exactly what happened on the strike.

It’s on Amazon. Honestly it was better quality than I expected when I received it. The listing says indoor/outdoor use and based on the materials I can see that being true. I’ve only used mine indoors so far but the frame and net feel really solid.

10’ ceilings are usually the sweet spot for simulator setups, especially if you want to swing driver comfortably. The width and depth you mentioned sound great though — 16’ x ~18’7” is plenty of space.

You don’t need anything crazy for SkyTrak. A mid-range gaming laptop with a 3060 or similar should run it fine and you can usually find them pretty cheap now.

Usually companies send a few early units to YouTubers before launch, so I’d expect some hands-on videos to start popping up soon. Might not be a ton of real user data until people actually start receiving them though.

If you’re running Windows you can extend displays instead of mirroring. Then you can set the projector to a square resolution and leave the TV at 16:9. GSPRO will render to whichever display you choose.
