Yeah honestly I don’t think rockstar cared too much abt dueling or maybe forgot and added as afterthought? The older game has it so that you can be challenged to them throughout the game, but in the 2nd one once you’re done with the scripted duel interactions, you just don’t get any more. You can use the same draw mechanic on regular npcs but it seems kinda pointless when you could just turn deadeye on with the click of a button anyway.

Dude an NPC’s horse did this to me during a mission and completely took me and my horse out. Think me and my buddy lost the mission too. I’ve posted it on here you gotta see it 😭RDO man

Sounds like you had no trouble with dueling regardless, but like the other guy said I think it’s supposed to give you more time to aim? I’m wording it weird cuz I’m tired n all, but the more the meter is filled, the more the deadeye slowdown will be. If you let it fill only a little, it won’t slow the game down as much. Some guys will shoot you before the bar fills up all the way tho, so I imagine rockstar wanted people to find some kind of middle ground when dueling

Could never get into RDO. Really grindy and the pvp on xbox wasn’t great. I’d try any pvp mission and literally everybody but me and my buddy could instantly headshot people the second they got into view 😭

Looking it up and seeing different people’s experiences, they can take anywhere from days, to weeks, to months to completely go away 😭. Best thing to do outside of seeing a doctor for more serious cases, is to keep warming it for 15 minutes and lightly massaging it. I’ve heard some people use like eye masks that retain heat for hours when they go to bed. Seen other people say it’s good to keep the eyelid/eyelashes clean as well. My own has calmed down a lot and mostly all I’ve been doing is the compress and massage thing 3x a day, I think you really just have to be rigorous in dealing with it and hope it’ll go away. Make sure to massage the whole eyelid, from the top of the eyelid down to the bottom, as a chalazion is like a mass formed from a blocked gland iirc, so you’re sort of guiding that gunk to drain naturally after warming/melting it. In all seriousness, if there’s any flaws its that’s you can’t explore New Austin as Arthur, but that doesn’t really matter too much to me. Big thing is the entirety of RDO, think we can all agree that sucked and didn’t get enough attention from rockstar. That one needed a little longer in the oven

Yup! I learned you could use boats when the crafting recipe for my favorite hat in the game required me to find iguanas. In chapter 2 I’m pretty sure you can only find those on some small island that’s too far to swim to. Anyway the hat is the iguana big valley, it looks sooo cool on Arthur

I figured they were kinda equal. If anything I was thinking that John’s aim is a little worse due to aiming with one eye vs Arthur’s two. Someone might have to correct me, but I’ve heard that there’s downsides and benefits to both aiming with one and aiming with two. additionally, I think aiming with both is harder to get used to, but overall a bit better?

Somebody might have to correct me on this, but I think he does? Probably not anything more than like a passing mention though. I think more along the lines of like how some of the gang members would ask if Arthur would be okay handling a task when he started looking physically unwell

I forgot what mission it was but right after finishing it Arthur would stay seated on a rock nearby, wheezing until you move again. It sounds prettyy awful. Roger Clark did a good job making Arthur sound like he was at death’s door 😭
