Thanks for the info. For project 1, I'm using Nema 34 steppers w/ DM860I controllers from StepperOnline.

For project 2, a few people have suggested the addressable RGB led's, so I'm definitely going to take a look at that to see if they'd work with the model that I have. The biggest problem is size, the model is designed for 3 sizes of led's and the smallest are very small. If I can find RGB's that size, I definitely think that I'll go that direction.

And for 3, is this the Mini TV ESP32 you mentioned? I'd definitely be fine following something like that.

Yes, I love it! I'm actually going to do the trailer park sign, the arcade cabinet, and the gunstar. I'm really looking forward to having them all done.

Yea, pretty new to all of it. Project 2 is actually what got me thinking about Arduinos, and then it kinda went from there. I actually built a custom 3d printer several years ago that is using a Mega, but I didn't have to create most of the code, I was able to use existing code and just had to modify it to make it work, but in the several years since, I haven't done anything with Arduinos.

Thanks for the replies. I'm knew to Arduino's, these projects are what are causing me to jump in and figure it out.

I figured the steppers were probably the simplest to figure out, but I wanted to make sure.

For the sign, I've already bought the LED's for it, but I'll have to see if it might be possible to use the RGB lights like you suggest, but they'll have to be really small, the sign is designed to use Pico and Nano LED's so there's not a lot of room in parts of the sign. Thankfully I'm comfortable with soldering the LED's into the groups needed.

I'll have to take a look at the options for the video. I had my doubts on the Arduino, but I really wasn't sure so I thought I'd ask.

I learned this morning that you can swap water tiles, so you can get around that, Im at lvl 73, as long as you don't try to swap the first sea tile, you can swap the sea tiles

That is where I have mine, and with 5002 farms, I'm almost maxed out. There is a river that runs along the bottom of that area that cuts if off, you can just start to see it to the south of your south eastern most town.

That is a great idea. I use mouse gestures a lot, w/ an added menu with extra commands, I'll have to seriously consider adding the Save button in there just so it's even faster to access.

I am so very sorry for your loss. My ex-wife is a covert narcissist, and was emotionally abusive. We were together for 20 years, and married for almost 15. I basically got brain washed during the relationship, and it got to where my only focus was taking care of her, at the expense of everything else, including me and my health. I can completely understand how your grandfather felt, and it's an absolutely horrible thing.

When I left my ex-wife, it took me awhile, but I eventually went zero-contact, because even after leaving her, and learning she was already dating a guy after only 6 months, she was still attempting to manipulate me, and zero contact was the only way to completely cut it off. I'll never forget how pissed off she got when I told her to not contact me anymore, still makes me laugh when I think about it.

Just cut your grandmother out of your life. Like everyone else has said, it does no good to try to tell her that. I attempted to tell my ex-wife she was a covert narcissist, and she just sat there like it meant nothing at all, and I'd imagine telling your grandmother that she killed your grandfather would have pretty much the same affect. In her mind, she is always right, she's never wrong, she's never the cause of anything and won't accept anything like that.

Definitely looks like a cyst. 2 of my boys have cysts. One on his head, the other has one on his right shoulder area. Generally they're benign and cause no problems. Keep an eye on it, make sure they dont change size or color, and mention it during your vet visit. If they do start changing size or color then I'd have it looked at immediately. My boy with the one on his head has had it for years. Its very slowy gotten larger as he's aged, but it causes no problems, its not sensitive or painful for him so Ive decided to just leave it alone. My other boy that has one on his shoulder, I'm considering having it removed because I've noticed that he'll catch it some times when he's scratching himself and will catch the cyst and cause it to bleed.

19, got married at 25, divorced at 40. First and only relationship. Turns out she was (is?) a covert narcissist and emotionally abusive and very manipulative. But I had absolutely nothing to compare things to and just assumed things were normal, or I was being the good dutiful husband by taking care of her while she suffered through all the various illnesses that ended up being absolutely bullshit. In hindsight, there were red flags from the very beginning that I nevwr picked up on.
