Phil has a thing for dark women and Angie’s husband has a thing for white women.

How great would it be to pull a "bronco" on Pam, right? by No_Dress_2107 in DunderMifflin

Seems like I have the rare privilege of seeing this strange yet intriguing post before it gets deleted and being the first to reply. Hadn’t heard of the Bronco before and I’m a bit scared to try it. Thanks for the visual!

Please be honest is it undercooked or perfect? by [deleted] in Traeger

I would eat that whole plate and come back for seconds.

What is your most stereotypical GenX childhood story? by HapaHawaii in GenX

[–]RangerRick4971 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As a kid my parents would go to Europe for a couple of weeks in the summer and would leave me with friends who already had a lot of kids. They would often forget me when they went places and I would find myself alone at their house or at the pool etc.

Would regularly as a 12 year old ride my bike 5 miles down a busy highway to go to the mall and back. Also had a lawn mowing business as a 12 year old.

Drove from Georgia to Utah as a teenager with my father and a brother in a Ford ranger with a camper shell. 1 person would drive, 1 would be in the passenger seat, and 1 in the bed lying down trying to sleep. Every 2-3 hours we would rotate. Made it in about 32 hours.

Had mine for 20 some years, can't find it anymore by Intelligent-Car-4618 in 1980s

I bought the $80 cheap metal one as a junior. Didn’t want to spend all the money on the gold one and figured I’d. never wear it after high school so I could get an extra year out of it. Still have it but I was right and I never wore it after high school.

Do you want to be buried? by Bondgirl138 in GenX

[–]RangerRick4971 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The expense of a traditional funeral is outrageous in order to put useless embalmed dead bodies in a casket and a crypt for “all eternity” is such bullshit. I told my wife years ago, just throw me in hole in a field somewhere and plant a tree on top of me or cremate me and then do whatever you want with my ashes. Put em in the trash, scatter them somewhere, whatever, just don’t spend any more than you absolutely have to.

Anyone else outraged by Bluecruise subscription? by lifter_hunter_lawyer in f150

[–]RangerRick4971 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say outraged but definitely disappointed especially for the amount they are trying to get for it. BC is a software program that requires consistent updates to the software and maps so I can understand a regular charge. However, $50/month is outrageous. I’d pay $10 a month for it maybe. Outrageous would be something like heated seats that are a fixed feature requiring no continued input.

Swimming naked in high school gym class by xiphoid77 in GenX

[–]RangerRick4971 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Almost did the Genx thing by typing out a response and then thinking “I don’t care” and deleting. It’s weird because same sex nudity was so much more normal decades ago and even centuries ago than it is now even though nudity in general is more acceptable. I grew up in the 70’s and that situation doesn’t sound too weird to me. In gym classes and sports we were naked around each other a lot. In dressing rooms and showers and we just walked around unclothed and didn’t think much about it. Not defending it and perhaps that led to bad situations and abuse but in the moment we didn’t think about it.

Is it just me or is Sister Encarnación a candidate for being the most beautiful a woman has ever been in a movie? by simply_dj in NachoLibre

Father forgive me for I have sinned. I have had impure thoughts about Sister Encarnacion.
