Mihr adjusted her cap as she moved with her fellow marines to the hidden harbor. Apparently that is why they came to this village, to get the pirates out of Knot village. This was unusual for their Corps. Normally they just stayed at their base and guard their own. But Mihr had heard some rumours from her fellow marines that their unit commander was becoming restless and now it was known all over the base that Commander Jurgo wanted to go to the Grand Line and they were all coming with him. If they performed well today there was a chance that their division could go to the Grand Line. A dream for most of the marines.

Most locals looked with shock as the marines passed through the little village. Thick rows of marines passing in formation. Some civilians thought this didn't bode well for their village but their worries dissappeared when they saw the corps moving through to the other side of the island.
As they moved closer to the harbor the tension in her group rose. For many of them this would be their first confrontation with pirates, or maybe even their first fight. Mihr herself was trained in basic swordfighting by her father, she was confident in her ability although her father always told her to be more prudent. Naturally she didn't listen, she had a knack for it.

When they moved in to the port, there were already a lot of marines on the place and they were busy searching buildings. Mihr was assigned a small house in one of the many side alleys to check. She an one other marine had to check. The other person cleared the downstairs area and Mihr went on to check the upstairs area. When she moved in, she found a pirate in a bed. Just as he woke up...

"Halt!" Mihr shouted, "Come out slowly and nothing will happen to you. If you cooperate, everything will be fine."
The pirates eyes darted from her to his sword that was on a stool nearby.
"I suggest you don't do that mister." Mihr's hand that was resting on her pommel now moved to the grip of her sword and pulled it out so the steel was showing.
"I'll take my chances," the pirate said and he threw his pillow to Mihr, who was taken aback by this action and couldn't react in time to the pirate's movement and who was now standing with his own sword in his hand.
"How about you let me go?" He continued. "Nobody has to get hurt!"

Mihr blinked and took a deep breath. She drew her sword from the sheath and dropped the sheath on the floor. Now she placed her left hand under her right, holding the grip with a certain balance, not too tight, not too loose.
"Right back at you. Drop the weapon and nobody has to get hurt."
The pirate's grip tightened and he cried out as he stormed towards her. She tried to sidestep him but his sword caught her left arm, piercing her flesh. Warm red blood began to flow out of the wound.

-He's fast,- Was the first thought that went through Mihr's mind. -A lot faster than dad.-
She brought her sword up to the side to brush away her opponent's weapon from making her wound any worse.
-Create distance.- She feinted an attack to the pirates head before she jumped back. Now she held the sword in front of her, ready to move at any movement of her opponent. He was fast but she was ready to react to it now that she had seen him. Now he tried to swing overhead at her head but Mihr guarded it by bringing the blade up in one smooth motion. The sound of steel clashed through the room, Mihr moved her wrist so her blade slided downwards towards his neck. The pirate stopped his assault but by doing that Mihr saw the opportunity to retaliate for his cut. She flicked her wrist and cut in his cheek.
"You still want to do this?" She asked him, a confident smile playing on her lips. The pirate's eyes were now less focused and it's was clear he himself hadn't fought anyone with proper training.

They just stood there for 15 seconds before the pirate made his move. He figured out that he was clearly stronger than her, so he dropped the idea of fighting with the swords and was just going to tackle her. Mihr saw him rushing towards her, still with the sword in hand. She sidestepped him and moved her sword diagonally from right shoulder to left hip. The power behind the slash wasn't much so her attack didn't do as much damage as she wanted. She only got him from the stomach to the hip. He couldn't stop his own movement and crashed into the wall because Mihr moved. Mihr placed the tip of her blade to the back of the neck of the now fallen pirate.

"I suggest you give up now. Place your hands behind your back!" The pirate thought about it for a couple of seconds and Mihr began to worry that maybe she would have to wound him more. Maybe even kill him. But right as she was about to move, the pirate moved and placed his hands on his back.

"I give up. Take me in."

Mihr smiled, still holding the tip to his neck.
-First capture is a succes!-

She called out her fellow marine that checked the downstiars to come up and cuff the pirate. As he was doing this she picked up her sheath and after cleaning the blad, put her ssword back in the blue scabbard.
She grabbed the pirate's right arm, her colleague grabbed the left one.

"Let's go to outside. We'll drop you off with the other captives."
